In this episode alone:
1. Superbreath
2. Superspeed (end scene, stealing computer)
3. Heat vision (GPS in Chloe)
4. X-ray vision (Chloe)
5. Invulnerability (bullet in end scene)
6. Superhearing (overhearing phone conversation)
Has there been another episode showcasing as many as at least 4 of Clark's abilities in it? I can't think of one at the moment...the only one this episode didn't show was superstrength, I think.

we haven't seen this many abilities since Zod
I think they saved some money for special effects JUST for Michael's directing debut!

They didn't show the superhearing, though. Let's remember that...but yes, they were all on display this episode.

Yes they did when he listened in on Tabias's phone call.

They didn't show it as in we didn't see the "zoom in on the ear" effect that they used to use. We just "heard" it. Or am I forgetting and they actually did do that?

They showed superstrength as well when Clark busted open the bowling alley door near the beginning.

No, they didn't show the "going into the ear" part, which was the point that I was trying to make above. But the power itself was featured.

no one wants to see "inside" the ear anyway. The power was implied, good enough for me!

I actually prefer this direction for super-hearing. It is cheesy the other way with the zoom in and waves. We can hear what he hears. That's all that matters.

I loved the fact that he used almost all his powers.

I loved that we got to see Clark use all powers (except 'superjump/flight') in this episode. So cool.
It was great to see him using superbreath again, and they actually showed him using xray vision instead of just having him do the 'hundred yard stare' and faking it.
Awesome.

Michael is a good director, I agree. He did much better than Tom did both times.
