Is anyone else convinced that Chloe WON'T be crazy?

For the past few years, they've been stressing that Chloe's fated to turn out to be crazy. I somehow think that they're just trying to bluff us. So far, all the main characters (Lex, Clark) Expect their destinies to be something they're not. Clark's fighting to be normal, Lex was fighting to be good, and Chloe's fighting to be sane. I am almost convinced that she won't be.

This episode showed how truly scared she was and when Clark stepped up to be there for her, I think that was hinting that he will "save" her. What are your thoughts on this?

I think she'll end up dead or being written into Superman continuity. I think TPTB are seeing how valuable Chloe is as a character and they might try to save her character or let her go off in a bang.

I just hope they don't kill her off. This new storyline involving her possible powers though, could lead her character in a different direction other than her just turning out to be insane.

The fact that Chloe is now on Lex's radar is pretty darn frightening. I don't see how he will simply forget about her at this point.

I do believe they said this show would be a tragedy. If I had to pick someone who will not live past the series finale. Unfortunately , I would by process of elimination because they do not exist in comics prior to 1987.
I would have to say chloe is in trouble.
Whether insanity or death. chloe is my choice on who buys it.

I would almost prefer Chloe ending up dead. I love her character, but I dont think it would fit into the comics :\ . I prefer her to stay in the superman media universe - if thats possible. I feel this way because there is no room in the comics for the Chloe I know and love, we have Lois Lane. Thats just my opinion.

After this episode, I get this feeling that Chloe won't go crazy...But, instead, something really bad will happen to her, like dying, due to Lex.
Anyone else get this feeling? And I love Chloe but I just get this feeling that she will die and that will have a major influence on Clark to his transition to becoming Superman.

Yeah...she can live with her powers and help superman do his job.........she is going to be incorporated in the comics also.....then why kill her off or end her in an assylum...i think Al Miles would definately take her throught the end of the series......(probably with a romantic angle between her and Clark) and then at the end, send Clark to training and Chloe end up with somebody from the JLA.....i wouldn't mind that sort of ending...

I don't want Chloe to die because I like her a lot, but I think the fact that she was made up for the show doesn't look good for her; same for Lionel --Whitney Fordman & Jason Teague didn't last long... Pete Ross could come back, though!
Clark would definitely end up with Chloe if things continued as they are now, & we know he ends up with Lois, so that almost says Chloe's got to go-- but I would prefer that she die rather than go crazy.

I like how that sounds; good thinking. I have thought Chloe would be great for Bruce Wayne, since he doesn't end up with anybody...

Check the spoilers because yeah that was stupid to say she's be crazy but they're changing their minds now and retconning Chloe as a freak now, despite the fact that there was never any indication of it in six years and that it was Lana who wore that stupid necklace of Kryptonite arounf her neck for all those years. Lana is the one who should be revealed as a freak if anyone should. And no, I don't think Chloe will die; that would be pretty stupid, too. Not only does Clark not need any push to be super by anyone dying, she fake dies once and he saw her die in the Zoner vison in Labyrinth. That's more than enough.

For as much as she knows about Clark's abilities, some may think she is crazy.....that is until the guy in blue with the red cape really comes around.

I wanna see Chloe a few years in the future when Superman is a reality, and how she reacts to that....

Ultimately I hope that she uses her powers for good, either to help Superman (which is perhaps a bit upractical if TPTB are planning on maintaining any semblence of continuity with the comics and movies), or even better, the justice league. She seemed to fit in quite well as 'Watchtower', and I wouldn't mind seeing more of that.

But if for some reason TPTB should decide that she is indeed going to die, I at least hope she makes it to the last season/episode (assuming of course this is not the last season).

I don't think she'll end up being crazy since her mother really isn't insane it won't be hereditary and I really pray that she doesn't wind up dead because the character is my favorite on the show. She has brought such depth to the character of Clark, IMO.. lets hope that TPTB keep her around for a long while.

I'm not sure the show would go under if Chloe died but I know there's a huge following for Chloe, which will keep her on the set.

I don't think Chloe will go crazy at all. I've heard the suggestion that she become the Oracle for the JL. That may be a good use for her character.

I don't think she is going to go crazy. I know that it has been pushed but I just don't see it happening. But if something tragic happened to Chloe it might give Clark the push to go out and save people.

I don't think Chloe will go crazy, and I don't think she'll die. SV seems to bring another spin to so much of the Superman mythos and Chloe is very much a part of that! I do have a new what if...

What if Chloe ISN'T meteor infected, either. What if Lex ordered Chloe be abducted--and a GPS implant inserted just so he could have her watched? Tobias' reaction to Chloe as meteor infected was pretty intense, and maybe what he thought was Chloe being meteor infected really had to do with Clark being Kryptonian, and he didn't know how ot interpret it?

Just a wild theory to spice things up!
