There are so many single mothers out there. She still has a chose. It’s not like she won’t have money to raise the child. With all the doubts she has, she shouldn’t be marry Lex. At least she should postpone or talk with him about that. The fact that Lex is evil , doesn’t make her behaviour right. You wouldn't like someone like that marry your best friend or brother.Isn’t she the one who talks about honesty all the time?

Lana doesn't have to marry Lex to help support her baby. Lana knows Lex would back her financially whether she married him or not. I think she feels the need to do the "honorable" thing and marry the father of her baby. She could make it as a single mom of course because Lex would see to it whether she wanted his money or not. She wouldn't let her baby suffer because of pride.

For some reason, I think her reason for marrying Lex is what Lex said in Crimson, Lana knows that Lex is bad news and would snap if she left. So I kinda think that she's marrying Lex to save him in a way.

Imagine what would happen if he told her the truth and that he loves her and wants to be with her. She would leave Lex immediately.

Well young Grass Hopper, study shows that children with both parents develop better, are more happy, and the child can get better financial support.
If you have seen children with single mothers they feel bad about them selfs and are jelouse and sad when they see other kids playing around or talking with their dads. lana only wants to do this so her child does not have a sad life.
