Well, now everyone has proof positive directly from Chloe: many meteor freaks had latent powers for years.

I think that would be lame...hacking is something we've seen her work at and progressively get better at. It's definitely within the realm of a normal human's capability.

I work in the software field.
there is no way to break current 256 bit encryption code.
The way people break codes is by convincing people to give their password willingly or by leaving the password where it can be found.
Trust me , chloe slices through way too many security checkpoints way too easily.

I agree. It smelled like they wanted to cover their mistakes with that line, IMO...

That could have infected her somehow. No need for special powers, IMO.

She said as much herself. maybe she was infected over the course of seasons 4-6 while protecting clark, not during either of the showers...i don't have any preset notion of whether this is a good thing or a bad thing. i'll wait to see how it plays out.

There have been meteor freaks who developed there powers later in life, however, so we really don't know *how* long that meteor powers can lay dormant, now do we?

Her superpower could just be she is extremely smart, highly logical, enabling her to crack through computer firewalls, and quickly allowing her to process information(all information, not just digital).
I would have no problem with her having that power, and I think it would explain how she was able to hack the lex/luthercorp webserver every other day.

yea during there conversation, she said something, and bam, cracked the encryption. wouldnt be the lamest power, it would actual be the most useful. its been useful thusfar.
