I think Elite is right. In Smallville, everyone should be a Freak. Almost every person there was exposed to the meteors between the 2 showers. Everyone should be lighting up. It would be a great surprise if we found out that Martha now had Meteor powers-she was in the farmhouse, so maybe she now has some super farmwife cooking powers-she can know cook 300 applepies in an hour, without an oven or the ability to churn 100 pounds of butter an hour. Maybe that is why we don't see her that much anymore. Between being senator and being the major bakery supplier to every supermarket in Kansas can keep a woman busy.

LOL. When I first read the spoilers I thought to myself: "How does a blind guy know that he is seeing green? That's like trying to explain sound to a def person." But, I saw the directors cut and everything was visually explained. I won't post the explanation here, because I don't want to spoil anything.

lana is not a metor freak in my opinoin, i think chloe is cuz she was in the car when with her mom when their car got hit bu a metor the first metor strike. and there is no baby cuz in spoilers for prgeny, lana tells clarks that she has miscarried and she gets an exam done to find out why and the doctor tells her she was injected with a hormone replicate which duplicates the symptoms of pregnany, so she was never pregnant.

yeah but if ya think about it there at leats three freaks in this episod so the asian guy 1 tobias 2 and chloe 3 so maybe the title freak meant all of them not just chloe

Except for her brief exposure to the Truth gas which was supposed ly nuetralized by Clark when he injected her, we've never seen any evidence that Chloe is infected. Perhaps everyone in Smallville is slightly infected but that, too, has never been mentioned.

Now...think about this: who wore a Kryptonite necklace for thirteen years? WHo was also exposed to Kryptonite and given psychic powers in Obscrura? The pink princess herself. SHe is the freak here, not Chloe. Now as to why Tobias thought Chloe was a freak, who knows? Maybe he was confused because she was standing next to Clark who, while obviously not a freak, may have looked weird to him since he is not human.

Lana and her spawn, if in fact, she does succesfully breed. SHe is the freak.

Of course, maybe Tobias DID recognize that Clark is something very different, then decided not to reveal it and used Chloe as the excuse for the meteor freak he saw?

Yes, I know, and agree with Chloe that the idea that Tobias didn't see Clark is because ultimately he isn't a meteor freak. So that plot line still has merit that Chloe does have something going on (oh yeah, she's got a LOT going on :) )
