Future Hiro Nakamura

I know there's already a Hiro Nakamura thread and FHN only appeared on the show for all of 5 minutes but MAN,what a cool five minutes it was!

My inner geek jumped for joy when Hiro looked like the embodiment of a geek hero.

Samurai sword, leather jacket and completely in control of the situation.

In fact he became my favorite character when he said:

"My name is Hiro Nakamura, I'm from the future."

Couldn't help but smile.

I wonder if he learns how to use the sword to fight or if it's just to focus his power (until he realizes he doesn't need the sword and it's all him of course ;) ). And, I've also wondered whether or not he will eventually learn how to take people with him when he stops time. If so, he could be the ultimate hyperbolic time chamber. He could take a bushido master with him when he stops time and become a master swordsman in literally no time at all! How cool would that be! Argh!

I gotta stop or I'll completely lose all focus at my job. :p

I think he will still carry the sword mostly because "it looks cool", that is just the type of character Hiro is :D

Especially with this last episode where it pretty much proved he didn't need it for his powers to work.

Can't say I blame him though, if I had superpowers I definatley know I'd be carrying around a sword.

Possibly a trident. :D

I think it would be more like a cultural choice, a sword for Hiro who is from Japan would be a great choice, like me being from Texas, a pair of six-shooters or something along a western line would be a choice.
Also depending on the power the character had would be an influence as to the paraphernalia they would have.

So we know he will be traveling time, so who is to say he doesnt travel back and learn to use the sword. That would be awesome. They should save that for season 2. Also I wish they would show him using his powers more from our prospective. For example; when he freezes time, the flicker from where he was standing to where he ends up. Or when he slows time, the super speed Hiro. It would also be kind've cool if he got stuck in frozen time for awhile, unable to release himself and Peter had to come save him or maybe he could teach himself perfect english. OK I have to stop, I am starting to geek out as well.

So, according to Five Years Gone he is war hardened with no qualms about killing. Hiro's future looks bleak.
