i think that it's possible that hiro's not really stealing the sword in the first place. i think that it may actually be his. what if he went back in time, got stuck for a while and he was actually the great warrior that he heard the stories about. perhaps he got there and could slow things down enough to be faster than everyone else but couldn't leap back in time. just a theory.

Maybe the sword is what transports him back in the first place, and he won't be able to get back until he gains control over his power. Under the tutelage of his new sensei Takezo Kensei.

if hiro is really tekazo kensie...here's a wild thought.... he gets married to fuedal japanese woman, has a bay. He has baby and so on and so on untill Hiro great-great-great-great grandson has little baby Hiro. That would be awsome...he's his own descendant!!

My wife is watching E-news while I'm online and I just overheard them say it has been confirmed that Hiro will not be joining the cast at the start of season 2... he will be displaced.

Maybe he is displaced by the bomb going off in NY. I believe Kring mentioned that the status of some heroes would be up in the air at the end of the finale.

It was clear from "Unexpected" that he doesn't really need the sword to use his powers, though...

I think he needs to sword to focus his power and he will be in season 2. The spoilers said he will have alove interest in season 2. How can this be if he is not in it? I really hope Hiro is not taken out because I think that would lose a lot of fan interest in the show. I know he is many of my friends' favorite character. Peter or Matt are probably mine.

he won't be leaving the show, the statement about season 2 was that he won't be joining the rest of the cast. meaning he'll be in a seperate century
