How stupid was that line?

First Clark tells us he can't do his chores using superspeed cause the Lexana Paparazzis are after him, then Lana thinks it's the greatest idea in the world to hide at the Kent's....?

So, all she wanted was to go through Clark's stuff, in his room?

And Martha let her? And both Clark and Lex didn't think there was something strange about it???
This show makes less and less sense, IMO.

Well, I think she just wanted to snoop.

Yeah, I don't think it's the LAST place she would hide, maybe Mauritania is.

Sure, she just wanted to snoop; that's no surprise. Finding the necklace all "ungreen" is a significant turn, & a good way to tie the previous seasons together. Clark has done his share of snooping, too, so he really has nothing to get upset about.
It's better for Lana to take 6 years to figure out something she's always wondered about, so she has time to think about why it has to stay a secret. She really hasn't found out anything she didn't already know, but an episode like this hints that she's going to figure it out.
I'm curious about how the wedding episode will turn out, because I really don't think they're actually going to get married, & I don't think she's going to have that baby...

Yes I do think Lana wanted to snoop but I do think that she feels safe at the Kents. Clark said that the paparazzis were following Lana and that they may show up at her ex-boyfriends house. He did not say there were actually there. Obviously Martha did not say anything to that effect. Remember she came back from Metropolis and asked Clark why he was not finished his chores which leads to the conclusion that she did not see any photographers on her property. It made more sense to go to the Kents then to Luthorcorp. Finally, I think it was just a plot device for Lana to find her necklace minus the green glow.
