Did the bad guys words affect Lana?

He tells her she's becoming just like him and he wants to save her from him. Did anyone feel Lana listened and did those words have an effect on her?

No, because I don't think Lana's ever really been a good person. She's always been manipulative, self-obsessed and in pursuit of back-up boyfriends.
