Well I would believe so...i'm sure someone else could make a much more comprehensive list.

-There was Justice, obviously bringing back old characters.
-Mentioning of Whitney and others in Smallville's past in labyrinth.
-Much talk in both the dream with legless lex and in the barn in Crimson about the "day at the bridge".
-Shelby! YAY
-Mentionings of Jonathan's death, rightfully so.
-One that surprised me somewhat, the neurilized kryptonite necklace Lana used to own.
-Special character (Spoiler Censored) from past showing up at Lana's wedding.

I'm glad the producers have continuity in just about full swing..okay mabye not that close.

Show us some Pete! haha.

Yeah I am also tired of the constant season 6 bashing, I myself find it to be one of the most fulfilling seasons thus far.

Am enjoying the season as well. :)

I don't know if it has the most continuity EVER, but it has been amazingly consistent with past seasons. I've enjoyed all the references.

This season has been the best imo. I like it better than the others.

If he thinks the show had continuity last night, then yeah kidding ourselves. I know it didn't. I couldn't quite follow it. Maybe because we've seen Lana be terrorized a million times.. its been done. MOVE ON!

i think we need another shakeup, like lana dying or someone else. we need to break out of these same storylines all the time, maybe im just sick of lana and clark, does he love her does she love him? move on.

Exactly! They had their chance.. why keep going back to it when it didn't work the thousand other times they tried it. It is stupid, redundant and quite frankly, BORING AS HELL!

I've liked this season more than a lot of the others, hopefully the finale will be good. Though admittedly some things have been a bit tiresome; Clex, Clana etc. too much focus on relationships IMO.

Yeah so the love triangles and such with Lana and Clark are strewn out way further than they should have gone. Yeah they need to drop the soap opera act.

In my opinion though in the last couple episodes it's being executed better than usual, plus Kristen's acting has improved greatly.

last season mentioned Pete. But this season has been pretty good with continuity as well.

Lone Soul, thanks for starting the thread. I wanted to address this, but thankfully I can just reply.

Up until Hydro I was going to see this season being the worst since Season 1. I hated the whole Zod taking over Clark, and weak phantoms with bad CG.

Since Hydro there have been multiple arcs, and much needed continuity. Also, I think that the CW giving Smallville a smaller budget is a good thing because we've been given more drama than ever before. Also, this will enable the season finale to be really huge, what with saving all the money.

This season has the potential of being one of the better ones, but looking at future spoilers it seems that this current arc in the series may come crashing down. Chloe shouldn't be a freak, nor should her mother. It's also a cop-out to have Lana lose the baby. It is the easiest solution to not addressing this arc and leaving it dead in the water.

I was starting to look forward to maybe even getting a Season 8 because there arn't too many shows I watch. However, I'd rather the writers and Gough and Millar just plan the hell out of Season 7 and make each episode fuse into the other, making the best season ever.

I noticed the good continuity in this season, also. Maybe they broke out their DVDs over the hiatus.
This is probably the best season of Smallville yet, but I'll reserve my final judgement until the finale. :P
