After tonights episode, I say Chimmy. This is the first time I saw Chloe light up at Jimmy towards the end. She looked right past Clark tonight. I'm glad she really likes him.

J-Chlo has really grown on me from the end of Subterranean onwards. They were especially adorable in Crimson so I am sooo glad they are back! I also feel there was a lot of character growth for both Chloe and Clark in finally dealing w/ the Chlark issue in the open. :)

I think the beginning Valentine's Day dance scene btwn Chlark in Crimson said it all when she told Clark that she deserved some fun w/Jimmy after front row seats to the Clana operetta and he said she made him feel "guilty, relieved and a little sad all at the same time".

I think he felt:
1.) guilty for making her miserable w/unrequited pining all these years (plus shoving Clana in her face)
2) relieved because he hasn't ever fully reciprocated her feelings and now he doesn't have to feel guilty about that --she's got someone else to make her happy
3) and finally a little sad because he does care a lot about her and she's been his unconscious "backpocket girl" who he hasn't wanted to lose (thus the early Climmy jealousy).

Last night's ep was a total aberation and not what we've seen all season long and in season's past. Clark is very jealous of JO and he is the reason JO and Chloe can't work. Chloe will help Clark out and piss JO off again and Clark will have to come to terms with the fact he does care for and think of Chloe as a lot more than a friend. That is the message we've been getting all season long.

And really, Choe and Clark have always behaved as if they were BF and GF and it's only Clark's weird fixation on Lana as the symbol of his normality and his fear of the fact that CHloe represents his destiny and his being a hero that keeps him from accepting Lana's true and very unpleasant nature. Lana was in fine form last night and we ought to be getting the final smackdown soon with Chloe the clear victor. No, Chloe doesn't have more in common with JO. And if we've been told anything consistent about her it's that she will always love Clark and she wants to be the best reporter at the greatest newspaper in the world, the DP. JO is a nice guy but no substiute for Clark and Chloe si fooling herself to think otherwise, just as Clark is fooling himself that he loves the self-centered Lana.

And "Lois?" Doesn't even matter. She's a joke and as we saw in Labyrinth, it's Chloe Clark goes to when the chips are down. And again, in Crimson, an atrocious ep, I'll gent you, Clark is all about showing off to the former GF of his rival hero and dumped "Lois" twice. I always was for Chlark, but when Jimmy walked into the room in the last episode, Chloe looked right through Clark at Jimmy. Her feelings are obviously strong for him and I'm sure she's tired of standing around while Krypton boy has this obsession with Lana.

I also like the fact that the writers showed Jimmy's serious side. That was a good way to fill out his character and for awhile Chloe was doing to Jimmy what Clark has been doing to her. Jimmy was her security blanket and she kept him around while she ran around with Clark. Jimmy called her on it and that caught her off guard. Glad to see a healthy relationship back in Smallville, it's been awhile since Pa Kent died.

I just can't get into Chimmy. And it doesn't really have anything to do with wanting Chlark for me, or not wanting Chlark (I don't 'ship!). I just don't find Chimmy to be a good match. Chloe's fawning over Jimmy always comes off as fake. No matter what the dialogue, she just doesn't seem that into him. And while Jimmy is fine on his own, he does come off as very boy-ish, as well as a bit insecure. They just mesh.

I think its nice that Chloe has someone thats crazy over her, but that alone isn't enough for me to like Chimmy.

Personally, I don't hate the ship. I'm just kind-of 'meh' with it; sort-of an indifferent 'why' kind-of feeling. Chimmy has to be one of the worst ships they have come up with. Now even though I have been a die hard Chlarker since S1, I still wouldn't have that big a problem with it, if Chloe and Jimmy actually had chemistry. They just look incredibly akward together. Jimmy obviously cares for Chloe way more than she does for him. It always comes off like Chloe is just tolerating him. Aside from that ridiculous make out session in Wither, we haven't seen any real passion between them at all.

Even in Tresspass when they got back together, Jimmy kissed Chloe, and she basically held her distance, and smiled/laughed. I wanted to see some legitimate passion/happiness on Chloe's part.

She is basically just tolerating being with him to try and move on from Clark. So even though it isn't Chloe on the wrong end of the stick, it is still a one sided ship.

The best match would obviously be where BOTH people felt the same way about each other. But unfortunately, that is not the case in either pairing.

That's your perception, not mine. But Clark has obviously never loved Chloe. To me Chloe seems into Jimmy.

I don't see that. Chloe may really like Jimmy a lot. But I think she slowly but surely allowing herself to fall for him. In submeterian she couldn't even call him her boyfriend. She didn't assert she has a boyfriend until justice and she didn't call Jimmy her guy until Crimson. I think Chloe cares for Jimmy a lot and she wants to be head over heals in love with him like he is head over heals in love with her but there are no clear evidence that she is. She never told anyone exactly how she feels about him. She only told Clark that they broke up and then let him beleive it was because of his secret. Which it was partly about his secret and partly about Jimmy thinking Chloe loves Clark more.

So there is no facts that she is in love with him. I personally think she is trying her hardest to fall in love with him because he is a good guy and she wants to be happy.

Chimmy is just like the Lexana ship. Both Lex and Jimmy are madly in love with Lana and Chloe, and both women are still in love with Clark and are trying to ignore it to finally move on at the expense of their boyfriends.

Look I know that Chlark will never happen. I have accepted that. But the reason I HATE Chimmy is because it is one sided. I want Chloe to be with a guy that she truly loves. I want to see some mutual passion between Jimmy and Chloe. Aside from the ridiculous make out session in Wither, and a peck on the lips every once and awhile, they have never really shown any passion on Chloe's part. It is obvious that Jimmy loves Chloe. I am not disputing that. But Chloe just doesn't feel the same way.

For those that think Chloe is into Jimmy, just look at the convo right before the break up. "So are you telling me, that you wouldn't rather be with him?" Chloe takes a mile long pause, then stutters, then finally says "No you're my guy." Now if she were truly into Jimmy there would have been no hesistation at all.

I think she wants to move on from Clark. But what I am saying is that she is using Jimmy to do this, and that she is not fully into him. That is why I don't like the Chimmy ship. It is basically a one sided relationship with Jimmy professing his affection for Chloe every chance he gets, and Chloe conviently accepting it, to take her mind off of Clark.

In regards to Crimson, I doubt Chloe would run to Clark and express her feelings with him all hopped up on Red K and everything that was happening with Lois, Lana, the engagement party, etc.. I also have a feeling that she wants Clark to actually show interest in her romantically. She is probably sick of putting herself out there only to get rejected.

I never said it was your perception. I was expressing why I felt the Chimmy ship didn't work. I also think that Clark harbors some romantic feelings for Chloe. But he just won't let them out. Look at his dissapointment in Zod and Vortex after Chloe pulled the plug. It is there. But it will never come out.

That is why I wouldn't really have a problem with Chimmy if Chloe felt the same way about Jimmy as he does about her. But from Chloe's actions and body language she doesn't.

Jimmy adorse Chole and their relationship is very sweet, young and immature. Jimmy is still very immature. Chole is "beyond her years". Chole is actually, I believe, more mature than Clark, at this moment.

Chole needs a "man" in her life....not a "boy" which Jimmy is.

Honestly....Clark still needs alot of growing up to do....maybe in the next Season Clark will be "worthy of a grown-up relationship"......maybe with Chloe....but I am sorry to say....then with Lois....the comics and the movies.......

While it is true that Jimmy loves Chloe, that still doesn't mean that Chimmy makes a good ship IMO.

In order for it to be a good pairing it should be dual sided with both people being equally into each other. Chloe obviously doesn't feel the same way about Jimmy.

If anyone doubts this take a look at the scene in Crimson.

Chloe takes a MILE long pause, then stutters, then FINALLY says "No you're my guy".

I think Chloe is into Jimmy. To me she seems to love him, and she lights up when he's around. She's smiling from ear to ear around the guy. I guess everyone's entitled to their own opinion, but if Chimmy didn't make a good couple, I don't think it would have gotten 76 votes on this poll. It would be more like 2 or 3, imo.

I think the reason why people are voting for it, is because they know Chlark will never happen, and they want to see Chloe move on.

In most of the responses, people are saying that Chimmy is the better of the two because it is good for Chloe to be with a guy who appreciates and loves her. But I think people are forgetting Jimmy in all of this.

I still say that for a ship to be good, it should have two people that are equally into each other, and not one person totally in love with the other tolerating it for the sake of moving on.

Once again, I want someone who says Chloe is into Jimmy to explain why she had such a long hesitation in her voice when Jimmy asked "Can you honestly tell me you wouldn't rather be with him?" If Chloe was into Jimmy as much people are saying, she would not have hesitated. Her silence spoke volumes in my opinion.

In the very last new episode that aired (Trespass), Chloe was into Jimmy. The author of this thread admitted that after seeing Chloe and Jimmy in Trespass, they saw that Chloe lit up around Jimmy and that she really likes him. She told Jimmy Clark's no him, and who am I to say she didn't mean it? She seems happy around Jimmy, and I'm happy she seems to have moved on.

I thought Chloe's pause had more to do with being at a loss at how to explain to Jimmy why she's spending so much time with Clark without giving away Clark's secret. Also Chloe was at a loss how to explain to Jimmy about why she's so blasé about Clark's actions at the party, without revealing that, hey no worries! Alien Clark tends to act that way only when exposed to RedK. Jimmy took her silence as a confirmation of her romantic preference for Clark but Chloe was actually just trying to protect Clark's secret.

This jives with Slavkin/Swimmers' interview wherein the writers stated that Jimmy's jealousy and assumption that 'Clark is in love with Chloe' was "all in Jimmy's head".

I don't recall them saying that, but I do remember that they referred to the Chlarkimmy triangle as NOT being a romantic one. Kinda says the same, IMO.

Chloe's not really compatible with Jimmy IMO. All they share is the Daily Planet. Chloe is into BDA's, Jimmy prefers bow ties. It is wrong for Chloe to be with Jimmy if she still has feelings for Clark though.

Jimmy seriously is in over heads with Chloe. And Chloe seems to be becoming genuinely attached so this may become a real 'ship in the future.

I was cheering for them in Crimson when Jimmy told her about her delegation success story and later when Chloe was like "chalk another up for the J-Chlo team!" That was sweet. :)

That is the reason I don't like Chimmy. You can tell she obviously still has feelings for Clark. People are saying Chimmy is great because Chloe is with someone who is actually into her. But what about the other half of the equation in Jimmy? Shouldn't he be with someone who isn't just tolerating him for the sake of moving on?

Did you see the way she treated him in Crimson? She has him trained and whipped. Then the long pause when he asked if she would rather be with Clark. Now they're acting like nothing ever happend. Ugh.

Actually I was the one who made reference to the long pause in Crimson over the last several pages.. LOL So I know all about the pause. I don't know how people can say Chloe is equally into Jimmy when she had the reaction she did to his question. Her pause spoke volumes.

I think the Chlarkers forget that Jimmy was Chloe's first back during her first summer at the Daily Planet. She never got past first base with Clark as it has always been an unrequited love. Chimmy does have good chemistry and we have seen Chloe move on from Clark since the ZOD kiss.

Chloe takes a MILE LONG PAUSE then STUTTERS, then finally says "No you're my guy". If she were truly into Jimmy there wouldn't have been any hesitation.

They did have a one night stand way back when, but that doesn't mean it was true love. Chloe never saw Jimmy again, or even spoke to him until three years later in Zod.

But I don't want it to sound like I hate Chimmy because I am a Chlarker. I know that it will never happen. I have accepted that. But watching a ship that involves a whipped Jimmy, and a tolerating version of Chloe so that she can move on, is not a successful pairing in my opinion.

They basically never have any public displays of affection, and when they do, it involves a peck on the lips, and Chloe recoiling into a smile. There is no passion coming from Chloe at all, and it took her forever to even refer to Jimmy as a boyfriend.

I think people are into Chimmy because they want Chloe to move on and be with someone who appreciates her. While it is true that Jimmy is in love with Chloe and treats her right, Jimmy is not receiving the same feelings back from Chloe. Jimmy has been, and always will be, the concelation prize.

Once again, this is not because I am a Chlarker. It is based on Chloe's actions, her body language, and her overall attitude towards Jimmy. She is not in love with him, and she is only with Jimmy to try and move on. Acceptance does not make a good ship. Passion and mutual love do. That is something that Chloe just doesn't feel for Jimmy.

Jimmy is as important to Chloe, as Lex is to Lana. Nothing more than a backup plan. Chloe doesn't love Jimmy. It's soo obvious. Even in Trespass she said "I really like you too" on the phone to him. That was so forced too. They just aren't right together.

In the show it is trying to make Chloe and Jimmy look like an equal match simular to Lana and Lex. Where they make them dress simular and the other person eventually starts talking like the other. And it's simular because it's obviouse that both girls clearly still love Clark. Lana does care for Lex a lot and Chloe does care for Jimmy a lot. And maybe both girls do love the other also just not as much as they both love Clark.

Sigh.. as much as I wanna vote for Chlark I get the sneaking suspicion that JChlo (as Chloe calls her and Jimmy at the end of Crimson) is so sweet. It would be so nice if that honest concern and care for each other grew to overshadow her pining for Clark.

However I am not certain that we've seen the last of Chlark.. not certain at all.
