Nuff said!
I thought it was ok. It progressed the clana relationship and brought back chlimmy. It was pretty good for a filler episode, IMO.

It wasnt filler by ther official definition. However, by Smallville standards it was filler.

To what ends? I mean here you have your ex who is pregnant with someone you saved who really hates your guts..and here you have a man who is supposed to be a superhero someday. And while his super friends are moving ahead and saving lives...he still wants his pregnant ex to stay with him. He wants to save her!!!! ??? what??
And who really cares about Jimmy and Chloe?????? Come on!
Bring on the Zoners please. ANd it doesn't matter how many times they flirt with the Lana character(who really has been headlining smallville more than CK and Lex), it will change nothing. Writers are awefull!
I also find it hard to believe that CK hasn't even investigated the marsian. Talk of gratitude!
but isn't that what superman is about? Regardless of his relationship with her, he still saves her. Just because you don't like lana, doesn't mean clark should let her die. There are many chlimmy fans out there. I like jimmy with chloe.

My only complaint was the episode was Lana centric. And why?We have Zoners now and the MM.
This week was strickly for Lana fans and their Clana facination.
If anything we got to see Clark's room:p

i agree... we need more action, more clark, less lexana.
We need some satisfaction (please)... always waiting for the little we get in the finale is too hard. I watch every week but don't feel satisfied.
its an eye roll, here we go again, "I wasn't myself"

I think TPTB aren't Patriots fans.

That is gratitude. Investigating him, as Lex did to Clark after saving him in that Porsche accident was ungrateful.
But I agree with a lot of your other points. Zoners are out there and Clark doesn't care and would rather play a game of tag where "it" is replaced by "stalker"? Doesn't make CK look good.

I know how you feel and it is so frustrating. I mean we have had ENOUGH alread with the lana/isobel/vampire crap. Please why waste so much time on these recycled issues, when we have Zoners/ Martian waiting???
Let's go!!!!!!!!
One more thing: I will be so dissapointed if after all the "I would rather turn time back and save lana, and let someone else die", if in the end then let Lana know his secret.
I mean that would be very crude to Mr Kent. That would really be stupid and inconsistent.
Whatever..this show is for kids anyway.

There was a time when this show didn't feel so kiddy. But yeah you're right. Why reverse time and go thru all of that just to let Lana find out even if by default.

Haha, I'm not so sure a stalker, murderer, and potential rapist are staples of a "kids show." A kids show is more like one where the main characters only fight supervillains bent on world domination and are defeated in 20 minutes (Justice League anyone?) That show is fine, but it doesn't deal with deeper issues. Relationships and human emotion are exactly what make this show not just for kids, and those are what I find so compelling. I am not a fan of One Tree Hill, but if you take some of those elements, make them slightly less sensational, and then add in sweet superheroics, you have an amazing show. That is the genius of Smallville, IMO.
If Lana does find out, it won't be a disservice to Jonathan. The reason Clark went back and didn't tell her his secret was that she couldn't handle the secret while she was dating him, because she would be in the greatest danger as his girlfriend. When she does find out, they wont be in a relationship (or maybe they'll try it initially, but they will eventually just be friends) and it will be a different situation entirely. If you take the time to look at the complexities of the relationships, motives, and emotions, they are much deeper than you think.
Not a filler epi in my opinion.

kind of a filler, though Lana did see Clark kind of save her for once by catching her, though she missed the other 399 times. It's just like a tease. Lana is realizing more and more what a good man Clark is and maybe there is a reason he can't share some things, but she is in too far. She is pregnant and feels she has to go through with this with Lex. She has seen him extremely upset and wild(election), angry (threatening Clark with a gun) and threatening that he would not know what he would do if he lost her.ANd cannot live without fear in that mansion. (Lex needs better screening practices for his security guards).
That speech she gave the security guard was not that far from the truth-she got her self in to far. Great message for birth control
