For some reason Jimmy is very timid around Clark. I hope he doesn't act this way around all farm boys otherwise he's going to be the punk of Kansas.
And then Clark bailed on him, leaving him stuck at the paparazzi's pad. That was funny.

I thought he was threatened because he thought Chloe might still have feelings for Chloe. His insecurity has made things awkward between Jimmy and Clark at times friendship wise.

"Iceman" was a great pick for Jimmy, too --even if the same actor did play a different person in season 1; their characters just looked a lot alike. And haven't they used the same actresses to play different meteor freaks from time to time? Maybe blondes just all look the same...
Clark definitely needs to get his job at the Planet, but he needs to finish college first-- same with Lois.
I'm glad Jimmy is still on the show; I got worried about that last week!

I'm glad Jimmy is still on the show; I got worried about that last week! it's actually not iceman. i thought it was at first too. who knew that iceman and jimmy olsen were brothers. i'm sure marvel and dc are gonna work this into their next cross-over storyline...:lol:

and i thought it was great that he stuck up for chloe. it shows that he was just being normally emotional last week. and he is NOT the punk all the emotionally detached people tried to make him out as last week.

I thought he had a great role this week. also it's good to see that he's not bumbling. twice in as many eps he had to do a task to save people, and he does. above and beyond sometimes, as shown when he ran and did the diving catch in crimson, and sprayed lois before she could react.

I think it's partly because of Clark's size. People seem to forget that Welling is huge! ("If you weren't so enormously gigantic, I'd cut you down like a cherry tree!")
Also, he's seen Clark be badass now (Crimson) and might be thinking about how Clark tossed Lex across a room and all.
Yeah, I think Jimmy has a right to feel timid.

I liked their screentime and hints of future friendship. Got to give Jimmy credit for standing up to Clark and threatening him if he ever hurts Chloe, that had to take some serious courage or foolishness. I also would have liked it if Clark returned that speech to Jimmy, I mean Chloe is his best friend right now, and its not like Lois was around to threaten him.

Clark: If you break her heart, "God help you will take on a whole new meaning", because only God could!

Well, who doesn't feel timid around Clark, especially when it comes to their girls? :D That's not a surprise.

He called on Clark for simply leaving him "holding the felony bag". I applaud Jimmy for that.
