Does KK have a cold??

Is it just me or does KK sound like she has a cold in some scenes? Like her voice is all raspy and nasaly. I guess smallville characters can get sick too.

I was thinking that too! Sounds like a sore throat. It sucks that you have to film an episode through that, especially since she's the main character of tonight's episode.

Yeah! That does suck for her. But I guess that happens. They can't just take sick days like regular people. I remember reading about how SMG had food poisoning (or maybe a stomache flu) and she still had to work through it. Now that would be rough.

But what's funny in some scenes she sounds all stuffy and then in others she's fine. Just shows you how long it can take to film a scene or two. And how out of order they can shoot them.

I agree that she sometimes has a raspy sounding voice but this time it's different. This sounds like you're talking to someone on the phone who has a cold and they sound all snotty and need to clear their throat or something.

But she seems to be sounding fine now.

I thought it was obvious that she had the flu. She was really sick. Half her scenes were in bed. They probably wrote some of that in because she was so sick. At times she could barely say her lines. She looked 10 years older. And the clincher was at the end when Lex kissed her on the cheek. Didn't want to get her germs.

Yah, I bet she had a cold or the flu. When she first started doing it and she was talking to Chloe, I thought KK was just pretending to be scared, but I realized I was wrong later on.

She sounded like she was sick. Like there was a frog in her throat at times and her voice was going. And she just looked ill. SV has a pretty tight shooting schedule, so if KK was sick they would just have to go ahead regardless.

I think she was sick during filming parts of this episode because she did sound more raspy than normal.

If you listen to the DVD of "Spell" with the commentary on it by Allison, Kristin, and Erica (which is totally hilarious), they talk about Kristin filming parts of that episode with a cold and sore throat, and she sounded exactly the same last night as she did in "Spell" ...in fact, she sounded a bit worse in parts of Trespass.

I didnt notice at the time but after watching a couple parts again she does sound lke that. Maybe she got hurt during the fall (hehe yeah Right)
