I was hoping that the writers would include the necklace this season, maybe if Clark and Lana become friends he'll give it back to her.

the necklace is when that shapeshifting girl stuck it on clark back in season 2 and the ship dekryptonited it. it was lanas necklace of the meteor that killed her parents.

The necklace was Lana's... and it was an entire story-line during the first two seasons. It was made from the meteor rock that smooshed her parents.

Yeah, there's even a little bit of red blood smudges on it, was from the same rock.

Well Lana's parents died from a meteor, Nell had a fragment of that meteor and put it into a necklace. It got a lot of screentime in season 1, and was used by Tina Gray to keep Clark in place, then the ship kinda sucked the kryptonite out of it, which is why it's now white and not green.
Lana loves that necklace, so I guess she's pretty surprised to see it again.
edit: jeez every1 posted before me, nvm my post lol.

It was Lana's necklace from the meteor that killed her parents. Shape changing Tina put it on Clark in his cellar so it would kill him and she could have Lana as shape changed Clark. However, Clarks ship made it inert and no longer dangerous to Clark. Thats why it is no longer green, but clear.

The spaceship neutralized it when it was killing Clark after Tina put it around his neck to replace him and go after Lana :) haha.

Excellent piece of continuity with the necklace, I give TPTB a lot of credit for that.

I believe her name was Tina Grier.

Yeah, Tina Grier is correct. So, what lame story did Clark come up with to explain its disappearance? He's going to have to get better at that if he's going to continue in this line of work.

Plus when the meteor freak saw Lana's future/death, it showed her being really old with the clear crystal too :)

i was so suprised that it was there and happy that the writers included it, i've always wondered what happened to it and why she never asked, requested it back. I lost a necklace that was important because of the memory and i wouldn't let anyone forget it was missing until it was found like 2 years latter, so it always bothered me that lana didn't keep reminding him, maybe she'll bring it up now and ask him

CONTINUITY! Man, thats one of the reasons why i love this season. Now, i know that we cant get Pete in flesh and blood on the show again for diff reasons, but if we got a mention or picture of him on the show, man, that would make me really happy.

Just goes to show that maybe, just maybe, the writers know what they are doing! I hope they prove you all wrong. Great episode and especially a great nod to the first season with that necklace.

Wow they pulled something back from Season 2....usually they only remember about a season or two back at a time...good continuity.

Yes, that's exactly what went through my mind during that scene. I was so happy they brought it back, but I had always imagined the next time she saw it would be when Clark was saying goodbye to her for the last time. Oh well, this will do for now.

Yeah, I've been wondering about that for quite a while. I just chocked it up to SV's seemingly chronic awful continuity.
It was sooo good to see it back!! :D I almost fell off my chair from shock when I saw it.
This season really has been really good continuity wise. What with wrapping up 33.1 and now this. Kudos, TPTB!

That's exactly what I thought. I think he will give it back to her and fulfill that premonition of Jordan's.

You know, if you really want continuity, remeber that Lana never put that stuff back into the drawer cuz she got interrupted if i remember right. Wouldnt Clark notice this when he went back to his room? He might not care too much since he knows that Lana saw the chisel and now has seen him do something 'super' so to speak. I think what this 'carelessness' shows is that Clark does want Lana to get close enough to where he can tell her. If she finds out, it means, Lionel is prly gonna go...

I think Lana will think the necklace made Clark a meteor freak in the pilot when whitney put it around him. Now that would be continuity.

Clark will only have to explain if Lana admits she's been snooping, because Tina stole the necklace to trap Clark. I don't think he was still wearing it when he went to stop Tina pretending to be him.
