The Invisible Mimic?

Just thinking out loud, but does anyone else think that Claude could be a mimic like Peter?

He stated that he knew others like him but failed to elaborate on them, and when Peter asked who else he had known like him. Claude just kinda smiled and left him hanging.

Also we know that he was somehow known to HRG. Is it possible that he just uses the invisibility primarily as a means of remaining undetectable and has many powers absorbed that he has not shown yet??

Plus he seems to know a little too much about Peters' power to not have dealt with it personally himself.

I thought about that too, but I dont think so because why is it that Peter absorbed invisibility and not any of the others he had, if he had other powers? Or did he absorb them and just didn't know it?

I agree that Claude is just an inviso-dude and not a mimic. He may have known mimics but I don't think he is one.

it occured to me that Claude may not accualy be invisible, but able to project invisibility. I know that didn't really make much sense, but think of it as this... his power is to telepathically mask his pressence. Even if Peter absorbed his invisibility, he wouldn't be able to see Claude, but if he absorbed his ability to project images he could. Also, that train of thought makes me wonder if Claude projected the image of the little boy into Mohinder's dreams to get him to unlock the list. If this is the case, then maybe Peter didn't find Claude. Remember, in Peter's vision of exploding, Claude is laughing at him nuke, which suggests he has an alterior motive

Yeah Claude MUST be an invisible man. He can't be a mimic, because then Peter would not have been able to absorb his power, but obviously he has been around doing ths a long time and most likely run into those like Peter. HGR did subtly mention him if you watch close. He also did not know everything about the mimic power because he didn't know what to tell Peter to do to trigger it. Peter had to figure that out on his own.

They would have wiped out anybody like peter if they found them they would be way to powerful in time and normal ppl like HGR would not want them around you could never stop peter...i mean aside from Hiro to go back and beat up his dad before sex how could you stop Peter he can freeze time, disapear , fly, telekenisis....he is unstopable !!!!!!!!!

we dont know the sideeffects of 2 mimics being2 gether. sort of like when matt and peter read eachothers mind. i think mimics dont get anypowers from eachother, and if thats the case then peter couldnt become invisible if he was around claude.claude isnt a mimic just a disapear dude
