What do you guys think? Personally I thought she did a bang up job, and I especially like that line"i'm your future," that was amazing, and the way she tried to play off the whole thing with Clark in the end?

The chemistry between the two is just great, In the end Clark was all like "I think I'd remember," and she basically tried to play it off, he complimented her, not something he does often; and finally finally they said both their names in the same sentence, Lois and Clark.

Her reaction at the end, when she was questioning what Lana had that she didn't was pretty good, and just to say it--she looked DAMNED SEXY tonight

She did Red-K love stricken lois very well

Overall I think both Tom Wellings and ERica Durance's acting were amazing tonight.

The end between the two of them really got me, when she looks at him and goes "i must have really liked you."

One of the best episodes in my book.

Even though I'm not a Clois fan, I thought it was well done. At least they actually picked a tall actress to play the part. ED really stands up to Tom more than the other girls do.

I thought they were very awkward together.
Every scene with both of them made me very uncomfortable.. I don't know why.

Maybe cause your a Clana Shipper?

The whole thing made sense to me, I saw it more of Clark's RedK not being the same thing as Lois being love stricken.

For him, it was a fun game, and for Lois she thought she was really in love.

I'm not specifically a shipper of any sorts.

I thought their acting was bad together. Simple as that.

All good.

I thought it was good you thought it was bad, and now the world is whole....

I watched the entire eppy and as a Clana fan, it was actually funny. I think the best line had to be,

Lois: Lanas' your past, I'm your future.
Clark: This is the present.

All I could think of was the word, "BURN!"
That had to have hurt. But good foreshadowing though.

I agree with you, they were wonderful tonight. I especially loved this scene. The way they looked at each other just clicked.

though I am not a Cloiser, I must agree that they both did an excellent job tonight. Lois, i think, was at her best...she was hilarious, and really pulled off the "being in love" thing....

even though i dont ship them, they were quite entertaining to watch, and made me laugh..

That was what made the old show Lois and Clark interesting to me, they were entertaining to watch--even in the cartoons actually as well.

I remember this one episode of the cartoon when Lois is on a plane that get's hijacked.

"Wait your Lois Lane?"
"Yep."
"The one Superman Always saves,"

Then all of a sudden the plane just like stops in the air and you see superman holding it.

I was pleasantly surprised by that I loved everything about this episode. I mean, Smallville rarely disappoints me anyway, but I wasn't sure how I'd take to the Clois -I don't mind the thought of it, but it's still new- well, I LOVED it. It was funny, it was believable...and the acting was great, IMO.

He's reaction when she touched his hand was funny, he looked kinda into it, then he giggled like a little school girl...and oh yeah the line when he goes "before she strikes again."

That made me laugh...

Oh! I loved the part when the drugged Lois flirts with Clark in his house after his mom left. Clark wasnt drugged then and he seem interested in her at first... at least before he ran off like the roadrunner. :D

Luv'd that scene too! I mean why would he take off like. He's got superpowers! A little girl like Lois Lane on a love potion shouldn't scare the man of steel. Oh wait..could it be his mom is right?

The chemistry between Tom and Erica is HOT. On REDK or just one of them or when they are normal. It was a treat. No angst for those two in the future.

I thought they were pretty good. Better than normal Lois and Clark.

Erica was especially well. :)

they do have great chemistry, and welling's acting had me up until the end. i just wasn't buying his facial expressions when he was talking in the barn loft with lois. a bit of overacting.

he is lightyears better than when the series first started though.

I actually like that because he finally had something over Lois, usually she ends up having the last word, but this time he decided to have a little fun with her.

Exactly until the fun moment wasn't so funny anymore and you saw Lois's face and heard what she said about liking him ALOT to do that.

Clark might be the only one that really remembers but Lois knows her heart and knows what "could" have happened then. Revealing moment there.....

Again...it's up to the actors and in this episode both had to run the spectrum and show different sides to their characters. Erica had to show that there is a soft side to Lois and make it still convincing that its still Lois. She did a good job. Tom would go from sexy guy on the prowl in the DP office to a sensitive guy who holds Lois when he sees she is troubled about the news.

Chemistry as seen by the fans is subjective but IMO, SV showed us a glimpse of what they are going to have fun playing with in the future.

The dawning on his face helped show that, because slowly as she gets serious you see the look fall from his face as if he is questioning how serious was she.

How serious was she and also he "knows" that the REDK made her head over heels in love with him and to Lois the CD reveals to her just how head over heels she was with Clark.

Up until this point Clark has been trying to have fun with Lois and bring their relationship back to where "he" feels comfortable with the friendly banter and jabs.

Each in their own way know something happened.

I hope the writers play with the tension in their friendship that this could create.

I thought they both did a great job. I think they struck the right tone in their scenes. I think a little awkwardness was actually appropriate, since neither is in their right minds. So, having something be slightly "off" actually works to help us remember that they aren't themselves. But I think they worked it.

I also think they were particularly good in the scenes when they weren't on Red K, or when just Lois was. Strangely enough, I thought those scenes had even more chemistry.

My problem with the Clois on SV is never about the TW/ED chemsitry. IMO, they have that. Its that I don't always like how the characters are written in their scenes. But this episode, and "Hydro", did a much better job. If they continue on this path, I think the Clois will be OK.

As well I like that she knows who she is kissing, and the fact that even if he was a normal guy or a powerful superhero she wasn't freaked out she still liked him.

I'm with you on how Clark and Lois were written and acted on SV in CRIMSON and HYDRO. Very good! I even liked the part at the Valentine's Dance since let's face it both have aching hearts and that's the last place they want to be. Halibut and hot fudge Love it! I agree that TW/Ed have tons of chemistry and alot of the time the writers haven't done a good enough job to play with that properly and in the context of the actual characters.

Let's cross our fingers that this is only the beginning and not a hiccup of good luck.

They did do very well, and I also wonder about Clark's feelings for her, because though he said they didn't do it, the whole 'i would remember," screams a lot.

I think the writers completely screwed over the Clark and Lois love potential in this episode. They completely belittled each other under the red K, and showed that Clark has no true feelings about Lois whatsoever.

Mischael12

I think it did the opposite, I think it showed that he is on some level attracted to her, though it is mostly physical.

And as said it lowers his inhibitions which cause him to react on his emotions.

I don't think the Writers are going to be showing "love" potential between the too anytime soon, but they will at least play with the attraction and fondness part.

Lois and Clark are not in love by any stretch of the imagination.

Clark is still in love with Lana and needs to work through his feelings.

As for Lois, say what you will but there is a purpose to the slow build up since the begining of S6 in terms of Clark and Lois's deeper friendship and then HYDRO. When you have so many episodes of the 2 of them "bumping" into each other you have to do something to have one of the characters "be able" to see the other character in a different light. That was the purpose of the GA masquerade and kiss and then CRIMSON. Clark has something ELSE to think about now. They will revisit this later....

They've done it better then most relationships i've seen on smallville, it starts out rather with them not liking each other, and then it moved towards friendly banter, and now it's like it's moving towards slight attraction.
