Crazy Speculation Here: (So I hope it doesn't get taken as any sort of spoiler)
But do Kryptonian babies take longer to develop in the womb than human babies...
Like could they take long enough to develop that this is actually Clark Jr in there? Just a fun thought.. because it's not a normal pregnancy. :)

I've seen lots of people speculate about that one...it would have to take forever though..cause she hasn't "been" with Clark since like...Hidden. Which would mean it takes double the time of a human baby. But then again...with all the super powered souped up genetics..who knows? I'm interested in that theory..but what would Lex have to do with it?

Like I've said before, there's NO way in hell they're gonna make this baby Clark's. I think the baby is a freak because of Brainiac's experimentation on Lex while he was on the ship.

ya I know it's out there a ways.. and the 33.1/Meteor exposure theories fit better.. but I like to let my mind go wild in Smallville.
The only thing I can think of is Lex's Doctor recognized a foreign DNA in the baby or some other anomaly and realized it's been a dormant zygote for 8 months and is just starting to develop.
Well, now that I read that it seems really OUT THERE. Oh well.. fun to think about. Game on.
