I have never posted here before, but I have read these forums many a times.
It seems that a lot of you are in denial as far as lana in the story goes. Such as the talk of her and clark ending up being friends, and whatever crazy theorys people have.
Am I the only one who realizes that the whole deal with the experiment inside Lana probably means that Lana is going to be killed off this season if not then the next?

The talk about a Clana friendship is based on their relationship in the comics.
That being said, TPTB have stated the only people safe from death are Clark, Lex, and Lois.

Ya I understand that all. I'm just referring to how people are finding these positives in this episode, when it is most likely hinting at something really bad.

i don't think it's the clana people who are in denial...

Why would Lana and Clark becoming friends is a crazy thought? That's what they are anyway from the comic books, at least before the Homewrecker era thing.

Denial about what? Enlighten me.....
As for Lana dying, if they kill her now, after not doing it in reckoning, they all suck(more than ever).

I know. Smallville has let me down quite a bit. I don't expect it to make any talented, or wise moves at this point.
Any time there's a hint of development, a giant whirl wind comes and we're at square one AGAIN AND AGAIN!
I don't think lana will die. The experimenting is for the baby, whatever it is.

If anything, they're hinting at Chloe's doom. It looks like TPTB are setting up a Clana friendship like in the comics, which is how things are supposed to end between them. Chloe doesn't exist in the comics, so she's an easy target for death. Also, not too many people can know Clark's secret. If Lana knows, then Chloe will buy the farm.

I'm not in denial about Lana possibly getting killed off...but I do want her and Clark do be friends if she doesn't die.

If Lana finds out about clark secret, which she quite obviously is, then she is going to die.
What better way to fuel the rivalry between Clark and Lex and spark Clark to go back and finish his training.

Well, that might not be the case since DC bought the rights to Chloe's character. She could definitely be a part of the next reboot.

But they did foreshadow Chloe's death...at least a little with the line in Hydro about her name being in the obituary, section D. And the death in AU Labyrinth...idk.

I don't know about that. Lana knows all about Clark in the comics. IMO they're just moving her towards her role in the mythos

I have yet to ask where you get your speculations about Clana friendship?Al said in his recent interview they dont follow the comics regarding Clana/Lexana.So I wouldnt exclude a Clana hookup that soon.Clana loves each other that was cemented in Crimson as far as I've heard.

Why do people keep using the comics as there proof.....
In the comics Clark doesn't at any point love Lana, so that is really irrelavent.

Saying certain fans are in denial and calling other people's views "crazy" is against KSite's Rule #10:
