The "it'll rub off in a week" part (about Lois' tattoo) disappointed me. Why? Because I was looking forward to seeing her reaction to the sudden realization that she has a "permanent" tattoo about her and Clark there.

I'm fully aware she could go in for tattoo removal, but it's a very costly procedure and to me, it would have been amusing to see her freak out about how she'll have to put up with it until she gets the money together to have it removed.

You're gettin too deep here dude...

Was just there to signify their budding romance. Would be too controversial if it was permanent. Plus parents of the kiddies who watch the show would all want tats and CW cant be liable for that lol

I wouldn't want it to be permanent. It was kinda ugly. I love CLOIS but still... it was great while it lasted though :rotfl:

You also wouldn't want a scar from tattoo removal on your boobs....

I checked up on it. If I understand it correctly, there are some procedures that can remove tattoos with little to no scarring (though a lot of it also depends on thickness of the skin).

The thing is she didn't get a permanent tattoo in the first place, you can get ones that will wash off.....

Permanent Ink Tattoos.

Kind of like how permanent marker marks can stay on the skin for quite a few washins.
