So is that Lex's real intention, to drug Lana to make her think shes pregnant to seal the deal on her marrying him? Seems so to me, anyone else?

I don't know. The doctor said that everything was on schedule, which made me think that there is a baby, there's just something weird about it.

That was the perfect capper to that great scene.

Something like that. But the Dr. did say she was preggers. If I recall correctly.

ETA: I don't know, it was all vague to me. Definitely have to re-watch that part.

Clark should have used his X-ray vision to see if Lana is really preggers since he doesn't trust Lex....I mean he hates the guy.

Clark - " You're his trophy and he's just your consolation prize. Now say you don't love me."

Was my favorite quote of the episode.

But if Lana would only use what little brain she has and think this through and she might realize that Clark was right. Lex has often said he was jealous of what Clark had. I do not believe Lex really loves Lana . I do not think the Lex really knows what real Love is. He just likes collecting things. I HATED his engagement speech. like, Lex, you used this speech, like 2 times before, remember? Do the writers think that we forgot that this character hasn't been married before? used the same type speech? Lana must have been hit too many times because I believe she was at, at least one of the other engagement parties and basically heard this before. does he recycle rings too?

So when Lex is brutally honest, he is considered evil.

But when Clark acts like a complete Jacka$$ and ruins the party, he is acting awsome and boss?

Wouldn't that require Lex to keep her thinking she is pregnant until the day she dies?

Because I mean wouldn't she leave him after realizing she wasn't?

If it was just that it was a high risk pregnancy they would have been way more explicit about it. Lex is definetely pulling something.

Gotta love it when the Luthors pay off a doctors to manipulate the people they "love." Terrific stuff. :D :D

because Clark is a boyscout, Boyscouts are supposed to be all mild mannered and crap, we are used to brutally conniving people like Lex, it's great to see the "underdog," fight back.

I think it's because you never get to see "that" Clark....I have to say, I thought it was awesome to see him throw Lex across the room...but that's just me. :)

When Clark said that, my jaw just hit the ground and I said 'Oh...my...God!', because I knew things were about to get ugly.

Clark was much more of an a-hole in this episode, I thought. It made me feel uncomfortable just watching it, so I give Tom two big thumbs up.

^LMAO---

I don't it seemed different way more docile then his usually red-k self so i guess this strain was a weaker version.

Clark was so cold. I don't remember Red-K ever making him say things that mean. I think Ma Kent will definatey break things off with Lionel thugh now beause she knows Clark does not approve.

Mischael12

This Red-K was definitely different. Red-K Clark has always been cold, but this one seemed to be a mix between normal clark and the red-K.

Especially in letting his emotions get control of him like that.

Red-K clark though spontaneous and dangerous always had a pretty good control over his emotions and didn't float between extremes like he did tonight.

But i would brush it off because the kid probably isn't the same as having the actual rock around him

I am sorry but I laughed my a** off at this. You have got to be kidding me, Lex is brutally honest.(HA!) Lex is NEVER honest, he's the most sinister, evil master mind of all times. Superman's greatest enemy. You you consider him Brutally honest. Sure! I guess Charles Mansion is considered an angel from GOD.

As for Clark, Clark told the TRUTH about everyone that ws sitting at that table tonight. Nobody got off scott free. That was awesome. Clark took charge and was heard.

I agree. I think it's awful that our future Superman acts like a complete jerk, and somehow, it's all ok, because he was infected by something. I don't even think he apologize for anything he did.

He even beat Linda Lake to the punch. If he doesn't get on the front page of some section of the next DP issue, I'd be surprised.

Just my opinion but I think it kind of got explained how come he went so ballistic and how his emotions were all over the place at the end when him and Martha were talking and she commented how he has been holding all these emotions inside and needs to stop bottling things up.

Maybe the baby was sort of "injected" with stuff from 33.1, so that it would be like a super-baby, like a test subject for Lex.

You said Lex is never honest. Good to know you can't see past the Luthor name and missed the whole concept of what his character in Smallville is supposed to be about. It is about his JOURNEY to becoming the Lex you know from the movies and comics. That means he isn't there yet. And he can be honest at times at this point.

lex always has the upper hand because he doesn't care how people feel about what he does and he is willing to get his hands dirty. Clark is always trying to please everybody and keep his opinions to himself. It was AWESOME to see the tables turn and witness Clark unveil such a great secret about Lex and be willing to hurt people or his own gain. Of course it's not a good thing and it only takes him farther away from his destiny, but it was just sooo awesome.

I almost couldn't watch the part where Clark and Lois bardge in. When that scene started I was " Oh ****, here we go"
