"Hey Lana, it isn't about not trusting you....." When they're talking about Clark's secret......I dont get it, why can't she say these small things that would help Lana and Clark?
that would only make her even more suspicious. It's better she says nothing.

Why shouldn't chloe do everything she can to help? Telling Lana it isn't about trust doesnt make her anymore curious than she already is.

Well she already helped by allowing Lana to believe that Lex is at fault for pretty much everything going wrong in Lana's relationships. What's new?

I think it is about trust partially.....and Lanas closeness to Lex right now makes it even worse.

Well she knows it isn't about trust when it comes to Clark. I'm going to go ahead and boooooooo Chloe for not saying that.

Lana should've apoligized to Chloe for trying to get her to betray Clark. And she has no right to even try to confirm something that's not her business. But as usual she uses her passive-agressive skillz to try to get Chloe to own up to knowing Clark's secret. Nothing new here, and of course the writiers have Chloe put the blame on Lex keeping Lana holed up. Lana is never to blame, she's always the victim. But hey, she's hot.
That's all I have to say about that.

And Chloe could careless that both her best friends are suffering, despite having the power to the help them. She's too busy at the daily planet........

For the same reasons that Clark was never able to.

Lana knows, but not everything. I can't wait until she figures it out so this will end with Lana and Clark.

And what's that? I think we've firmly especially that it isn't that he doesn't trust her. Do we have to go thru another reckoning?

The thing people forget is: IT'S NOT CHLOE'S SECRET TO TELL. When it comes down to it, Chloe is Clark's friend first, Lana's second.
And Lana's been no great friend to Chloe either -- she doesn't truly trust her b/c she knows Chloe will always be loyal to Clark.

Plus, we don't know what she said to Lana anyway. Just because the scene is over on screen doesn't mean it was actually over.

It has nothing to do with the secret though. Please don't try and make it out like that. All it's about is chloe as friend letting Lana know, it's not about trusting her. That has nothing to do with the secret, it gives Lana no clues about the secret. All that sentence does is make Lana feel better about not knowing.

It is about acknowledging ANYTHING period. By saying Chloe knows that Clark has a secret admits/confirms that he has one. Chloe has no right to confirm he even has a secret, let alone tell it.

And from what we could tell, Chloe did acknowledge Clark has a secret. Which is why she was at Lana's party. If she was doing that, the least could have done is say the it isn't about trust.

It's not for Chloe to tell Lana.

Lana should not put Chloe in the middle.. it is between Clark and Lana and during this episode Lana said that she wished Clark trusted her enough to tell her his secret but he doesn't and that is true.. he doesn't trust her! Chloe is being a great friend to both of them, IMO.. they need to stop running to her and putting her in the middle though. I think Chloe is probably getting fed up with it, at least I hope she is..
