Jeez guys don't only vote, add a reply to, lol
Personally, they make me giggle.
In a good way, I mean.
The chemistry between them, it's almost like a role reversal.
You know how guys typically tease girls when they like her?
Well, in this case, Lois always teases Clark and he's just amused by it.
And I have to admit, 2 episodes ago, when he was disguised as Green Arrow and they kissed, I squealed like a little girl. Pretty sad ... but I love them as a ship (especially since they're meant to be, haha).

To be fair, I think lois looked superb, a world class set of wheels. But she is generally only attractive to me when they lobotomize about 2/3 of her normal personality and show her in heat.
In the micro skirt she was impressive. And then she returned to her normal self.

That was a horrible beginning to their 'destiny'. They were just too awkward together, not intimate or comfortable at all. No spin-off with these two in Metropolis. We'll leave that to the original "Lois & Clark". I would have thought nothing could have been worse than that, but I was wrong.

There was so much chemistry in every scene between Clark and Lois.
When the were normal, when Lois was on REDK and he wasn't and when they were both on REDK and gone wild.
Come on SV...lets start putting the 2 of them in situations where they we can start building some tension and have fun.
Clark....listen to momma Kent. Time to be honest with your feelings and let Lana go. Oh and it's okay to want to kiss Lois.:)

I found the RedK Clois scened strangely disppointing. As if the actors didn't like each others very much...

The look on Lois's face when he's about to ravage her and stops to look at the invitation to Lana's engagment said it all.
This is one big reason why there can't be CLOIS yet. The Clark Kent that will love Lois would never do that to Lois ...REDK or no REDK. The fanboys broke their TV's on this one.

I loved the episode, and have no problem admitting I was grinning most of the way through it, well except for the "party crash" at the end, blah, that was a bummer...
Gah, will they put a frigging STAKE in the CLana and be through with it, sheesh... I actually skipped most of season three, or at least I think it was season three, because I was so tired of the Dawson's Cre.. er, Smallville angst-a-thon of the on-again, off-again Clark/Lana crap.

Red Clois was AWESOME!! I like the fact that Lois is still acting like herself...The only difference is that she was soooo into Clark and act all sedutive towards him... And the part where she said something nasty to Chloe because of Clark... Clark on the other hand was great in the episode... I can see the difference in him from his previous action when he was affected by the RedK...
And Tom and Erica really did a great jod!! and with their height, just wow... It makes them look more sexier than ever!!!
All in all, I love RedK Clois!!!!!

I really like the fact none of the their makeout scenes were gross and face-eating fests. All were done tastefully, and the DP newsroom and the flight scenes are very sweet, which something that I'd never associate Kal with. As if it's Clark totally being himself in those scenes.
Got to give props to ED and TW for selling it so well, and no over-the-top performances. They look awesome together.

They're funny (Kent kitchen), sweet, sexy and romantic (DP newsroom, flight scenes) and HOT (phonebooth and Oliver's apartment) all at the same time. Not to mention the hilarious teasing and the meaningful looks at the end, during the barn loft scene.
Clois got the whole package hands down, all in the same episode too :D

I loved the Clois interaction. I thought they had alot of chemistry in all of their scenes. I especially loved the way he kissed her in the phone booth and was trying to tell her about the real Clark Kent. And the end scene was priceless in the barn. I got the impression he liked to watch her squirm when she was asking him how far they went. All in all, I really enjoyed them together in this episode.

Clois was more than just hot! They were practically shooting off flames. When they were in Oliver's apartment and Clark picked up Lois and spun her around it was perfect! They were so hot together!
I can't wait to see more Clois, and hopefully at some point a Clois where they are both actually interested in each other, not just because of love spells, red k or anything else.
Even before he was on the red K Clark kept getting these momentary expressions on his face like he liked having Lois come onto him. :-)

Redk doesn't transplant people w/ new personalities or makes them possessed by other entities. It just lowers your inhibitions. People on RedK still have the same wants, desires & feelings as their regular selves; the Redk just makes them more prone to act on their impulses.
So it was a real Clois kiss, because it was really Lois and Clark kissing.

Kal would be fun to play with for a short while;)! As far as RedKlois - um, forced chemistry because of redk. The funny part was how sarcastic the whole thing was - from EDlois' "what after one kiss your into me?" to Kals "Oh, yea, this real" The sarcasim and goofy music was what made it funny - otherwise, not REAL chemistry

It was awful and disgusting. Showing us this Not Lois who would deliberately take a drug becasue she's told it would help her trap a man showed her as not only stupid but desperate in a way the real Lois would never be. It was even worse to have her dress like a cheap whore and even Clark when he wasn't infected was totally repulsed by her coming onto him. It was sickening and in no way romantic. It also made her look even more pathetic by sitting at the table and whining about what Lana had that she didn't after Clark dumped when he saw Lana. That was horrible. And people have the nerve to complain that they think Chloe is pathetic when it comes to Clark. Not-Lois hit a real alltime low there. Crimson was awful in that regard.

Yup -- and they went out of the way to point it out in the episode, as well.
Clark's conclusion in the end: "So I want to kiss Lois...." So, there was something there from Clark's side that's always there & Red-K let it out.
Lois conclusion in the end: She looks down at the Whitesnake CD with surprise and dismay on her face. "Wow, I must have really liked you...." So, again, Lois realized that her actions didn't just stem from the drug making her act that way -- there was something real on her side.
As far as chemistry goes -- this is completely subjective. Of course people who are fans of other ships will think that the Clois was "disgusting" and "forced". I have similar thoughts about the Chlark and Clana I've had to witness for the past 5 years. However, it was clearly the intention of TPTB to show that Clark/Lois have something there & their actions were based on the spark that they share. At this stage, I care more about what SV is trying to show us rather than what fans of the show say they see.

It wasn't a "drug", it was just lipstick. The way I saw it, Lois just gave it a try because she wasn't very sure it'd work. Like saying, "yeah, what the heck? It won't hurt to try". But I can argue that because it's just my opinion based on what she told to that hippie lady. And honestly, I can't blame her for trying it. She is obviously hurt because of her break up, even if she doesn't want to admit it. She just wanted to get over Oliver as soon as possible.
About Clark being "repulsed" by her, I seriously doubt that. He looked more shocked than anything, and not shocked in a this is disgusting get her out of my sight kind of way. Quite the contrary I'd say ;)

Lois was under a spell, it's not the same as pining away everyday the way Chloe has in the past. Chloe is a stronger character in her relationship with Jimmy. Also, Jimmy's jealousy is interesting because most guys seem to have a problem when thier girlfriends have male friends.
Also, when Clark wasn't infected he wasn't "repulsed" by Lois. There was an expression of total enjoyment for a second everytime she came onto him before he let his inhibitions take over.
ED does a great job of playing Lois.

Absolutely! I posted the following in another thread, but I think it's very pertinent to this discussion, too:
When deciding whether or not you think Clark was "repulsed" by Lois in this episode, think about the clear contrast between "Crimson" and "Devoted" from Season 4 when Chloe was under the influence of Kryptonite Gatorade and she came onto Clark in the loft.
When you contrast the two scenes, you can see clearly that Clark is TOTALLY attracted to Lois BEFORE he is infected with RedK.
In "Devoted," when Chloe comes onto him and climbs on his lap to kiss him, Clark doesn't even put his arms around her--he holds his hands up in the air and tries to resist the kiss without totally being mean and pushing her off.
However, in his kitchen with Lois, Clark allows her to put his arms around her, and he definitely looks puzzled but like he's enjoying it. While he's telling her to put in the CD and when she pulls slowly away to do so, he's still holding her of his own accord. Remember, he knows that she likes kissing him, from her own admission in "Hydro" (although SHE doesn't know it). I think he speeds off and leaves her in the kitchen because he knows she isn't herself, not because he isn't attracted to her. In fact, he probably also speeds off to fight his own inclination to take advantage of her while she isn't herself--unlike his reaction to Chloe in "Devoted".
And, as Martha Kent and many others have pointed out in other threads, RedK takes away Clark's inhibitions; it doesn't make him feel something he didn't already feel when he is normal Clark. Thus, if he had truly been unattracted to Lois when he was normal Clark, he would have gotten rid of her in a pretty mean way when he turned into RedK Clark, rather than making out with her and revealing his secret to her.
I think, especially when compared to the Chloe scene in "Devoted", there is overwhelming evidence in "Crimson" that Clark is highly attracted to Lois and definitely cares how she sees him and what she thinks of him-- hence, the beginnings of the Lois and Clark destiny!

Lois wasnt any worse, if not tamer than Lana in Nicodemus - wearing pretty much identically the same outfit worn by Lois (knee high boots and all) then stripping to her underwear as a FRESHMAN in high school, or Chloe in Rush.
Lois is a woman in her twenties who has had adult relationships; I think she was acting pretty appropriate to the circumstances. And considering after Clark started to return her advances she tried to make sure he REALLY DID have feelings for her before doing anything else with him, because she thought she loved him and wanted it 'for real'. Thats not very slutty in my book. I thought for most of the time she was under the effects, she was more lovelorn, once she got his attention.
and yes, the episode was cheesy, mostly just based on the plot devices; but the dialogue was astounding in this episode - not to mention the midnight flight, which in my 6 years of watching the show pretty religously, my favorite moment thus far. And if you dont like cheese in Superman stories I suggest not going anywhere in the vicinity of 'Lois & Clark' (not saying you would, but just an example).
I happen to think this Lois is the best of the bunch, ED hits her perfectly with her wit and her overcompensating ambitious hard as nails attitude- but even better playing her soft and vulnerable, its almost heartbreaking when she takes this turn, but better yet utterly believable that Lois really CAN and IS vulnerable inside - which isnt easy when you have to act the COMPLETE opposite of this 99% of the time your on screen. Besides that fact that ED looks painted straight out of the comics as what Lois should look like (to me anyway), she's just...Lois. - big props to the entire scene on the top of the DP in this episode...both of their acting, and even better in their pure character demeanor was utterly precise and perfect. I dont think I can give a better compliment to Durance's portrayl other than that; because I cant describe her any better than...Lois. She just is. And trust me, im not the blind leading the blind here, and just being partial to all things smallville because im a fan; Im a SUPERMAN FAN. I own all the movies, watched every incarnation, and I'd like to think I know my stuff. So in comparison, I still believe ED to be the pack leader here.
my two cents ;)

That was actually my favorite scene of the episode (next to the pseudo flight of course)
He was being very cute the way he knew what she was trying ask but that she didn't want to say it. She finally looks at him pleadingly and he gives in, still pretty amused.
Then she gets a look at the gift she made him and has a very serious look on her face. "Wow . . .I . . .must have really liked you." All the laughter drained from Clark face and they shared a pretty deep look together. I think that simple thing worked a lot more than a mountain of anvils. I'm not a roma-Cloiser by any means but that just worked for me and was very nice.
I thought the Red K infection (with BOTH parties this time instead of just Clark) seemed subdued, which actually worked because it wasn't over the top. You could see the real them still in there somewhere. I can't believe he took her flying (a pseudo flight/half super jump but still) I mean I SAW it but I just can't believe it! I was so ready for that to be cut and to be left very disappointed. There was a huge smile plastered on my face and I think probably many of us comics fans were too. The moon being so full in the sky was great. Fly me to the moon Superman! :)
Wow! A LOT of people voted for Red Hot! ;)

Then his smile falling when he noticed that the cd mix was not to be taken lightly in terms of meaning. I think the writing, directing and acting for that scene was awsome.
I definitely agree. Clark's teasing Lois and ability to just be himself around her is very important. He is naturally less inhibited around her than he is around other people, both while he is on Red K (and showed her his powers) and while he is normal. There is a balance between them, no hero worship, neither of them puts the other on a pedastol and they both have fun around each other (even when they are arguing.)

at the end of the show in the loft was the one of the best scenes of the whole episode. THE DEEP MOMENT OF LOIS AND CLARK. Him playing around with her about what she was asking:D that was so cute:p

I thought Clois in this episode was very cheesey and kind of trashy.
I understand that Lois was under a "love spell" so she was acting kind of slutty and all over Clark ... but did she need to dress like that?
I have to agree.
I don't totally dislike her.....but I really can't see her being this Clark Kent's "love of his life".
So far they've had no time, when Clark is in his right mind, that he seems even remotely interested in her.
He has way more chemistry with Chloe.
I truly feel that it was a poor story choice to even bring Lois in as character at this point. (Before becoming Superman.) It would have been more interesting for Chloe to mention her occasionally.....and maybe some "put a face to a name" encounters.....but nothing more.
(I also hated the way Lois was dressed. I think that some of these shows are going over the top with the slutty dressing. I'm rather tired of it. )

I didn't like the Kalois/Clois in this episode, watching them kiss made me uncomfortable. It seemed forced to me. (And that's not because I ship Clana...because I didn't feel uncomfortable or any of that during the Clalicia scenes.) I also didn't like how Lois was dressed, I agree with others who said she dressed slutty/trashy.

I think it is ridiculous to single out lois as slutty! All the female characters have been dressed up in leather and boots at one time !
In this story she had injested an aphodisiac and metor rock that made her go fullspeed ahead on desires! Normally she would not dress this way and this is apparent when she said, I hope I was going to a costume party! If she was truly slutty, she would have gone after clark that same night and not asked him if this was real before going further with him. And how do you know that clark didn't pick out the outfit for her? he was all dressed in leather as well...where did they get the outfits from-Ollie's Closet?!(it wasn't green you know!)
It did the same thing to her as it did to Clark, it removed the inhabitons! And in some small way, I think in the loft scene she wanted to tell him she cared for him, and she wasn't just realizing it out loud, but acknowledging it to him.
If this was slutty, then what in the world do you call Lana?????

Lana never dressed like Lois did when she gave Clark the mix CD. (Please don't bring up Nicodemus, Lana looked no where near as slutty as Lois did this eppi, IMO.) The mix tape scene was the one I was talking about when I said she looked slutty. It's just my opinion, you don't need to go crazy because some people think she looked a certain way.

I loved this episode not only because Im a clois fan but because cetain issue that were building up all season in Clark's heart were finally expressed to the people around him.
As mush as this statement comming up might please Clana fans, I htink my favorite like was something like this to Lois "Your my Future but she's the present"
Kinda cold on RedK's part, but the part about Lois being the future was very ironic.
I hope to see more of this friendship developing into something bigger later down the road but I want it to happen slowly .. I loved this episode it game me my clois moment. IM satisfied because I know this is the future. A slight tease and peak into it was perfect

I did like that it brought up issues, but I want some closure on the stuff with Lana. It needs to have an ending so Clark can move on. I feel like thier story line has been dragged out and beaten to death.

I know that we'll never be lucky enough to see her killed off, but I really hope this Lexana marriage will end Clana for good. Clark Kent is supposed to be about truth, justice, and all that crap. He's not supposed to be a homewrecking BDA...
I wouldn't mind seeing a Clana friendship. After 6 years, Lana deserves to find out Clark's secret. I just think the show will be stupid because once Lana finds out, Lex will be the only major character who doesn't know Clark's secret.

I admit that I liked Lana early on. I can't deny that. But now, I just can't stand her. I don't wanna see her with Clark. At this point, I don't wanna see her at all. I hope Smallville goes eight seasons because KK is only signed on for seven and she said she isn't very interested in renewing her contract. A season without Lana is something to looks foward to.

The whole point is that the writers have done a bad job of writing her!
They have realied on making her character do things to propel the sreies toward the classic traingle thing that they love.
They invent things that are inconsistant with her character to explain why her and clark don't end up together.
They have not tried to focus on keeping her character consistant and instead just use her to create problems and story line. A really lazy way of writing!
Instaed of figuring out who she is and why and staying true to that, which is how they should have done it.
We all would be able to identify with that better written lana lang.

Thank you. Exactly, I was not saying anything about the people who ship Clana. I have no problem with that. Everyone is entitled to thier own opinion. I just think that the relationship is dead. There is nothing more I want to see about it except a conclusive end so that Clark can put it behind him and finally move on.

Again, this is what I meant. Lana would be a more likable character if they focused on her as an individual and not as something they can just use however they want to create the storyline they are looking for. The writing is just doing what it can to make the Lex-Lana-Clark triangle work, regardless of Lana's character development. They just make her do whatever makes thier storyline work.

No problemo. Us Cloisers gotta stick together lol.
When I think of the phrase "beating a dead horse" I think of Clana. If there is a Clana friendship, fine, I can deal with that. But, I do not want to see any romantic moments like there were in Seasons 1 and 2.
There is nothing left in the Clana juicebox. AlMiles have sucked up every drop possible. It's time to pull the straw out.
Clana is dead, much like Anna Nicole Smith. They need to leave them both alone and let them rest. For good.

That's what I love about their relationship. Even though they are together now, they still have fun together. Don't get me wrong they have had some serious moments when their relationship took a few bumps, but they still have great time together.:)
