In an older interview, Tim Kring said something about Micah's ability and said "He's like R2-D2."

Well, one good sci-fi reference deserves another: what if Sylar's ability makes him "like a Borg." His ability would then be the ability to analyze and adapt, which anybody who's seen Star Trek knows that this makes the Borg one of the shows most formidable and feared enemies.

So... what do ya think?

He would have to be part machine/cybernetic to be a borg, the adapting part of the borg was that if one "drone" experenced something, they all would adapt as they were linked as one hive mind.

Sylar seems to know when something is "broken" and be able to fix it. IMO the broken part of the heroes is the changed DNA.

Yeah, I wasn't being literal when I said that. In that case, Micah would have to be a droid with three legs to be "like R2-D2". No, see I was being comparitive. What I should have said was, Sylar must have the psychic equivalent of the Borg's ability to analyze and adapt.

So... now what do ya think?

I see your analogy there.
As would a Borg, Sylar would determine the ability, then assimilate the power.

i compare sylar to a type of leech the way he has this `hunger` but his power of seeing and adapting 2 the way things work does remind me of a borg

good thinking
