What does everyone think about this new character?
He seems to be a good additon to the show. I'm glad peter has someone he can talk to about his powers. He seems to be one of the only heroes we have met so far that has complete control over them. Although he has had them a lot longer then these other heroes. I wonder what his backstory is and why he seems to want to be a lone. Sounded like he had some bad memories about the past and past heroes he just wants to forget about.

Claude's mark is diffrent than the others, it may be because he "needlegun" wasn't around when they marked him.
To me his looks more like a scar rather than a tattoo.

I assumed the scar was there because he took the tracker out; HRG could have found him easily if it was still there

The tracker is a chemical tracker not an electronic device.

I think he had the tracking removed, thus the scar. They thought he has been dead all these years. So if he still had tracking, they would've known he's alive.

Claude is one of my favorites. He's funny and witty and I really hope he sticks around for awhile. I can't wait to see his story develop more.
Plus I'm also a big Doctor Who fan so I was really excited about Christopher Eccleston coming to the show.

He has become one of my favorite characters ever since his first appearance. His backstory seems to be as elusive as he is and I was glad to see him show up in the past with HGR. I hope more is revealed about him and who exactly he was protecting all those years ago. He certainly seems to have a much better idea of what all is going on than everyone else. I like him.
On a side note, I wonder how old he is given he was an adult 15 years before the present events are taking place. I guess he could beas young as 45 or so but I think he is more like 50 some.

Christopher Eccleston was born in 1964, so that would make him 43 as the actor, so the character shoule be close to the same.

That was an April Fool's joke on Herosite's main page. I'll try to explain it since it relies on some (for americans) obscure knowledge.
The longest running Sci-fi show in history is the UK's Doctor Who. Its about a time traveling alien known only as The Doctor. Because of the fact that the actors playing him got old, and well, eventually died, instead of just replacing him with another actor, it was explained in the show that those of the Doctor's race could regenerate when at the point of death, and they would apear somewhat different after the regeneration. Christopher Eccleston played the Ninth version of the Doctor, in the most popular season of the show in years (and in the first season after a long hiatus). Eccleston was so immensely popular as the Doctor, that he decided if he didn't leave after the season, he'd be typecast, and so we only have one amazing season of Eccleston as the Doctor.
David Tenant was the one to replace him. I personally was worried that he would not live up to Eccleston's portrayel, but he has done an amazing job, and his portrayel of the character, naturally evolved from Eccleston's, in my opinion, while not better than Eccleston's, is just as good.
Anyway, the April Fools joke was that David Tenant was going to replace Eccleston as Claude on Heroes, just as he had done on Doctor Who.
I hope Eccleston comes back. He is one of my favorite actors, and Claude is my favorite of the recurring characters.

I think that Wonderwoman actress getting on the show was another. (Was anyone else realy disapointed in her performance? Or was it just that she was in an AM centric ep, and AM is just much much better?)
Anyway, is CE working on anything that would prevent him from returning to heroes?

i think claude is the killer. the preview said it was an old character who was killing the group and if it wasn't matt's father than i think its claude. it looked like mrs petralli was fighting herself, or an invisable man. and of everyone on the show he is the most likely to be after revenge. he is the only one who is not of the 12 who knows all of them plus has reason to want to kill HRG. we know that hrg was in the last painting and hrg was claude's partner before he tryed to kill him.

Thats actually a good theory, the singular hole being how could claude have survived the fall off of the building after killing Kaito?
Edit: After I posted that it hit me...who said he fell? He could have gon invisible and been hangin on the edge or something...but then why not be invisi when he actually killed Kaito to begin with? Hmm...fixing a hole I found another one...still, a good theory though
flying_girl
10-22-2007, 02:26 PM
maybe he wanted kaito to know who killed him? if you kill someone for revenge you dont get proper vegence if the person your killing doesnt know who is taking revenge against him and for what.

True, true, but then why be invisible to kill Mama Patrelli? Dont get me wrong though, Im actually liking this particular theory at the moment

he only wanted the person who was soon gonna be dead to know who he was. not the rest of the world. killing someone in a holding cell in a police station is a sure way to get caught unless your invisible the entire time. besides for windows the holding cell had cameras. also he might have realized that he wouldnt succeed with to many people around to intervene, this way it looked like she tried to hurt herself.
another possibility is that he wasnt trying to kill angela at this moment, maybe he was just trying to hurt her and damage her credibility by making it look like she was trying to hurt herself so the police would have more reason to suspect her of kaito's death and take him of the hook for it. by that i mean the police wont look for anybody else if they think they have their killer.

Like pycer i like your theory flying girl but seeing Kaito's killer going off the roof with him keeps coming to mind and i don't think it makes since. I mean i don't think Claude is good enough to run, push someone off a roof along with himself, then try and whip around and hopefully grab hold of the ledge (unless he can cling to walls to...lol). Honestly i just don't think he's that risky when it comes to his life and hoping he'll make it once he's over the edge.
Plus he seemed pretty ad emit about not wanting to be found or especially anywhere near HRG and the Company. If he wanted to kill them then he could have just done it back when they thought him dead. Then I thought well maybe that was before he knew they no longer had Molly but then again if they thought him dead to begin with then they wouldn't have thought to ask her to find him. Plus they got Molly way after Claude defected so i don't know if he would have even known that they had someone like her.
I don't know...seems like a lot of holes...but nice try flying girl...now prolly watch it'll end up being Claude and i'll have to eat my own words...lol.

we know he is because hes done this before, risked his life in such a manner before. i think that the same explanation for how he survived this would explain how he survived when HRG shot him by that bridge (company man). he was shot and than he started to fall backwards into the river below when he became invisible. there is a reason everyone thought he was dead but he must have had some way to survive he used the same way now. as for why wait until now to start killing everyone. they all thought he was dead so why try anything, he wanted to be left alone but now they know he is alive so they may come after him so now he is taking care of the problem by getting rid of them and getting his revenge.

Well how he survived that i heard was in the comics so you might wanna read that...he was saved from an unknown stranger and people were speculating it was Mr. Petrelli.
And the part about revenge...ok i'll give that to ya but i mean it's just Claude...if it was Claude then i sure as heck know Kaito wouldn't be afraid of him...cause again it's Claude...he can turn invisible...i mean his power doesn't do any good if he's showing himself to ya and letting you know he's there. Kaito could have easily taken him out with whatever power he has (which we think he did have one since we believe everyone in the picture has them cause basically everyone so far has...we just don't know what they all are.) I mean even Mr. Bob the Midas touch could have killed him by turning him to gold as soon as he touched him and i'm sure Kaito's power was better than that.
Again nice theory but i just don't think it holds up (personally).
And pycer you need to be slapped for that joke...lol...now roll on over here next to the back of my hand.
