I don't know if anyone is interested, but I made a few new BTVS fanvids.

I love a good Buffy/Angel vid, and this one definitely didn't disappoint. :) I liked all of the effects used, especially the split-screen ones, and I also liked your timing/pacing in the vid. Here's a couple of parts that I liked most...

0:05-0:10 : I liked your choice of scenes for the beginning, because I think that was the first time Angel saw her so it was a nice touch. Correct me if I'm wrong. :)

1:25-1:26 : I thought it was cool how you matched the lyrics for, "when you shoved it in my face", by showing Angel push Buffy into a wall.

1:37-1:39 : I liked that part too, with the lyric match, again, for "when you shoved it in my face"

2:24-2:27 : Basically the same reasons as above. :lol:

2:28-2:30 : Lyric match for, "pain you gave to me"

2:31-2:42 : This part just went with the music well, and I just liked how you put it together.

3:07-End credits: This was sort of a sweet scene, and it matched the soft music really well. It was cool how you timed the kiss to be on the last strum of the guitar, too.

Now for the Buffy/Spike vid...

I like the song, and I think it was a great choice for a Spuffy vid. :) I enjoyed the effects in this video as well and once again, your timing and pacing were great. I honestly can't choose favorite individual parts of mine for this one, because it flowed together so well I'd have to describe every second of the vid as a favorite part. :lol: Seriously though, great job on both of the videos. :D

Thanks for the awesome feedback! Buffy is my second favorite show ever after Quantum Leap, so I love to show my support for it by making fanvids for it. It is actually a really fun show to make videos for.

It is funny because I actually don't like Buffy and Angel that much at all. It is just that I always wanted to use Blurry and it fits them best. There were times when I could buy into it like in the episode I Will Remember You in S1 of Angel, the end of Amends in the snow, the dance in Prom, etc.. But for the most part, I got sick of it. The best part in the relationship was in the S2 Angelus arc, and the end of Becoming II at the end of S2.

- Glad that you enjoyed the opening. For the video I wanted to go more in chronological order of the relationship for the most part.

- Yeah the shove scene @ 1:25 was fun to use. That is such a great scene. The shove it in my face scene @ 1:37 is a great scene as well. Had to get it in there. The bit @ 2:24 -2:27 from the end of Amends is actually a really great Bangel moment in the series, so I had to get it in my video. Plus it works so well for "shove".. :lol:

- Thanks for the compliment on 2:31-2:42. That was a hard part to edit with the music. Especially the fall towards the floor.

- Thanks for noticing the kiss on the guitar strum at the end. I worked hard on the timing there.

Thanks again for the great review. I especially appreciated the compliment on my pacing and effects. I worked my butt off on the effects in this one.


I am happy that you enjoyed the Spuffy video so much as well. I wanted to make sure that I used the song before it reached "overused" status. Thanks for the compliments on my timing and pacing with the music. That is always very important to me when making a video. It means a lot that you enjoyed it so much, that it was hard to choose individual favorite parts. :)

Dude, I loved the Buffy/Angel vid, loved the song, the timing was impeccable, and I honestly hope u continue with the Buffy fanvids... keep up the good work:)

Again, I loved the Spuffy vid, great song once more and the timing again was just perfect... keep it up:D

Also, I wanted to ask what the program u used to make the vids was, I'm wanting to start doing some vids, and I could use some tips if ur willing... Thanx, catchya :)
