Yeah, I was sure it was going to be a Chlark kiss and that he would finally be over Lana (because he chose Chloe over her in AU), and that we would finally be able to move past this. But no, of course not, just another disappointing spoiler. That did not qualify as a real kiss.

I know I was really surprised that there was not a REAL KISS. After Chloe was killed, I thought for sure that there would be a CLANA kiss:rolleyes: Gosh, how I wish that Clark would have kissed Chloe after he returned from the AU. There were two times where I thought that maybe he would kiss her:

#1 When he hugged her in the barn! Now, I like Shelby, but why did he have to ruin a nice potential CHLARK KISS?

#2 When sitting in front of the fireplace (very similar to CHLARK "Splinter" fireplace scene), he tells Chloe how much she means to him "You mean more to me than you know."

Why didn't the BDA just kiss her?! I just loved the way they looked at each other!:p

I don't remember seeing any spoiler about Chloe and Clark kissing, ever. There were all these threads about Chloe kissing Clark for this episode and the whole time I was like: WTF? I don't know where all of you got your info (maybe it was just wishful thinking, or one of the sources got very confused when they first learned of the spoilers) but I knew nothing but the usual smile would happen and little else. Someone got the story really messed up cause I seriously doubt kissing Chloe was ever even in the script, especially with Gough sounding his trumpet for the wonderful return of Clana.

Look at it this way, at least Chloe only died in the AU. It could have been much worse (or better depending on your point of view :p ). At least you got a Chlark hug. That's something right?

Nope. Clark goes on a kissing spree in Crimson only and even then Chloe is left out of the loop. I think someone really got their spoilers mixed up way too much.

I expected as much anyway. At the end of the day they are just close friends. At least that's what Allison says.;)

Yeah but its better that way actually cuz now Chloe can give that little BDA a taste of his own medicine after Crimson and let him come after HER for once. Yeah hes totally going to initiate it this time...and the buildups j starting, wait til Chlarkimmy get their scenes in Freak and Tresspass. Lexana isnt going anywhere anytime soon. And Clark DID NOT say he was in love with Lana anymore, just that he has some feelings for her (and chloe too :rolleyes: )....love is diff than "in love". which is understandable....but the balance is shifting towards chloe now...the entire dream sequence showed that....if Clark was SOOOOOO in love with Lana he would have given up everything for her but he DIDNT....he chose Chloe. (AND he didnt even kiss Lana back :lol: ) Now THAT is a first!!!!

Yep and that regular female was Lana.

The kiss was just a peck on the cheek by Lana but that was the kiss they were talking about.

I hate to burst the Chlarker bubble but this Clana triangle is gonna last all season according to Al Gough. You'll see plenty of Chlarker friendship moments though, and Chloe questioning her feelings for Clark again after Jimmy dumps her. Will it go beyond that? Uh huh . . . well . . . I think it's gonna be a while.:p

I agree,they have to stretch out clexana til the finale since chlimmy is finna end(And jimmy is finna leave).And now we see tonight that once chlarkimmy ends chlarkana will be an option wit clark choosin between both girls again jus like in s1/2.But I agree this time clark puts hisself in a hole wit chloe and has to work to save things,so it shifts the balance to her side where for once if clark does feel sumthin for her he has to prove it.We kno her feelings tho she'll deny them later we kno she luvs clark in luv wit him and always will be,but now he'll upset her so bad that she'll start to rethink if he's worth the sacrafices.So for once clark will have to do the convincin and I expect he will even wit lana on him constantly tryin to get him back,I do believe clark will start pickin chloe over lana(By tryin to fix things).Its definitely comin I agree

I disagree he sound confused when he told chloe he still luved lana,he himself thought he was over her.And when he sort of see that his comments r gettin to chloe(Cause he's willing to give everythin up for lana)he reassures her that she's jus as important which imo shows that he may feel sumthin more.We can only speculate but I definitely wont say he made it clear he wants lana and doesn't want chloe.He jus made it clear that right now he still luvs her and is confused on what to do,yet tellin her she means alot/reassurin her she's part of that confusion cause he doesn't kno who he wants.He luvs her that will never go away but he's not in luv wit her,and once she learns the secret his decision will be more clearer.Tonight was jus setups for future triangles(Clexana/Chlarkana)and the choices clark will have to make by the end of the season.Plus chasin a friend u've pissed off/care about alot could bringup sum feelings he's been keepin in,its very possible that he feels sumthin for chloe but doesn't kno if clana is completely done.Once she learns more about him then givin up on clana/datin sumone else wont seem like a default.Til then yes he luvs lana but I dont think he wants her the boy is jus confused

Didn't sound confused to me at all. He just sounded like he thought it was all over but that definitely isn't the case now.

We now have had both Clark and Lana say very clearly that they are in love.

Dating someone else? That hasn't been said a single solitary time by Clark. Clark hasn't even mentioned the word love to Chloe. Well he has said it many times . . .

Well he did say those triangle are changing at KSite. For years it's been Chloe -> Clark -> Lana. But in this ep, we visually see that triangle represented and twice when confronted with Lana, he goes after Chloe. Lana's living in Clark's place, Chloe in what was Lana's.

The triangles are flipping alright; AM confirmed it in her interview too. Lana -> Clark -> Chloe? It's more than plausible, especially as I do agree that something was obviously re-written between spoilers and airing.

Well even if you count the kiss on the cheek that Clark just kind of stood there for - there was a lot of tension built up by people not knowning whom was kissed and the wording of the spoiler to indicate something major which lends credence to the idea that something was written out of the script. Given that everything but the 'real world' ending has Clark turing to Chloe and running way from Lana [who chases him the whole ep] I don't think it's crazy to speculate that maybe, just maybe, they were going to give Chlarkers something before they broke Clark with her death.

ITA. A guy that's even remotely interested in a girl would never discuss how he feels about another woman to her face. Clark talking to Chloe about how he feels about Lana just proves that.
