I'm so sick of this rediculous concept. Why is Clark's love for Lana explained only that he was in "love" with her since he was 5? BS! Spiderman loved MJ since he was 6, and on Boy Meets World Corey and Topanga all of a sudden had fallen in love at the monkey bars! WTF. Bring out a 6 year old and I'll show you a person with cootie-phopia, not this crap that TV and movies push out.

At six I think I stick picked my nose and wiped it on my sister. At ten, the same time Clark apparently gave Lana the one ring to rule them all and in the darkness bind him, I was playing NES or something and building dirt ramps so I could jump my bike. I didn't give a sh*t about girls.

I met my best friend at age 5 and I thought he might be my soulmate at 9, but I grew out of it and I hope Clark will soon too

Really? Guys don't think about crap like that, at any age. Well, most guys.

Clark is still 5 and he will remain 5 years old forever...

That was just creepy. It's one thing you meet your best friend when you're 6 and in your childhoold illusion, you believe you're gonna spend the rest of your life with that person, and another is seeing a grown up man like Clark holding on to this fantasy.

Exactly. I was more concerned with riding bikes, sledding, and playing NES. I would hang out with girls but it never crossed my mind that I may find them appealing in any way. That's what pissed off so much about Boy Meets World, when I watched that show it was when they were pre-teens and they were like "Me like girls? No way!" and it showed them maturing, starting to like the opposite sex, go on first dates and progressing like normal people. Then I stopped watching and when I watched one of the college year episodes they showed a "memory" of Corey and Topanga with "love at first sight" at a childrens park when they were like 6! So much crap. Clark's love for Lana is crap.

See, but that's how normal boys and girls act when they're six. Now, you take Clark and Lana....That's another story. They have weird written all over them.

Sickest thing about Clark "falling in love" with Lana is that he was never able to talk to her AT ALL until he was FIFTEEN because she had on the K-necklace. Sick I tell ya.

I am not going to knock childhood experiences because I still hang out with and am very close with all of my friends in the old neighborhood and highschool. Those experiences last you a lifetime, but you also grow up and have new experiences and learn that life isn't as black and white as you think it is. Clark learned none of this.

Is it wrong that I find the idea of Lana as a ugly, deformed troll funny as all hell?

It's not that men don't have these emotions, we do, they just sneak up on us. We don't like to dwell on emotions. We like action.

I understand that. I have several male friends and we tend to discuss things such as this for fun. Yes, we are an odd bunch.

Not odd, just different. Unless you have a trusted gay friend where else are we going to get fashion tips?

*slaps forehead* Of course! You watch a lot of TV, don't you ? I don't watch all that much TV and usually buy the DVDs of series I like because I watch them at my own pace. Like 24. I just rent the DVDs and watch the season in one weekend. THERE ISN'T ENOUGH TIME!

I am not looking forward to my sister watching this episode. Even though Lana is extremely scary in Laby, she won't care because it was Clana and that is all she cares about.

Delete the episode from your PVR and tell her Clark admits his undying love for Chloe and tells Lana to take a long walk off the short pier at Crater Lake.

At 5 I was looking at girls. Not all the time until NES came around a year later. I started liking girls at a young age. I was looking mostly at the tatties.

Haha. Nice idea in theory but she'd just dl the episode for herself. This is the only fandom where we differ in ship preference and it kills me.

Yes, we are sisters and oddly enough in every other ship we agree on it is a best friends turned more relationship. She has said that she thinks TW and KK have better chemistry than AM and TW, I whole-heartedly disagree.
