That being said, the episode is very very good and amongst some of the best of the series. For real reasons, like character continuity and storyline, not because a character you happen to not like died.

I think the acting by Tom so far has been wonderful. He really has grown as an actor. Michael's scene was just heartbreaking as well

This was a phenominal episode, IMO. I loved how they had that constant noise in the background in the dream scenes. It was very well done, far better than I expected.

Noooo, everyone on the forums missed the brilliance that was Justice. /sarcasm

Of course I saw it, Labyrinth wasn't as good as Justice, but is still one of the best episodes, just as Justice was.

This episode was great but not the best. The best parts were the ending with Clark choking the Phantom and having the Phantom unleash, the MM throughout and his eyes and flight, and the Lex/Lana/Clark scene. Lex and Clark are truly enemies now, no matter what one says, its the way it is and will be.

I don't think a Best Episode Ever candidate should be a rip-off of episodes of other shows in the genre. Just my opinion.

I agree,and luv the clex scene in the dream I'm actually suprise we hear of mionel but don't see the MB.But I do think wit all the events we can sort of tell why clark goes off on everyone in the next epi.The continuity tonight suprise me,but a great epi as far as movin the plot along imo I jus notice sumthings were cut and wonder if it would have told more.Still a good followup to a strong Justice imo

This episode was FANTASTIC... that is until the whole Clana thing showed up in his real life, after he was out of his dream. I was like nooooo, jeez, we had to put up with this for 5 seasons already!!!! Don't do it! Don't do it! Ah, he needs to be with Chloe, that's what I think, and actually I think that'll happen next episode.
But besides the Clana... the episode really sucked me in, and even though I knew it was all a dream, it still had me wondering how it would end.
I'd give it a 9 out of 10

While I don't think this was the "Best Episode Ever", it was definitely ONE of the best I've seen in the last couple of seasons. From the very beginning I was blown away by all the performances. Not the best episode, but maybe the best acting I've seen on Smallville. Everyone gave AWESOME performances tonight!:)

I also love how they had that phantom growl every so often as well. I give the sound department a lot of credit for this episode because they created a very strange atmosphere for this episode and I think that's why I really liked it. It didn't feel like your typical Smallville episode, that music in the background made it seem quite different. I just loved it, and now I'll shut up about it because I'm sure people think I'm crazy for thinking that.

I thought this episode had some of the best acting of the season. It also showed that you could have a good STORY without needing it to be action oriented. Not that there is anythign wrong with action episodes but character oriented episodes can be just as engrossing.
Both Tom and Michael showed a wider range in there acting tonight then they have most of this season. Allison also gave a good performance. She believes in Clark, but has the glint of insanity in her eye. Unfortunately, Kristin wasn't given anything different to her character in this episode then in most of the others.
