I didn't get a chance to read the label - but Martha's reaction to Clark picking it up really looked like a lie.

But it was all in Clark's head.....so I wonder if it's because he's worried about his mom or if it's another foreshadowing.

i was definately expecting to see Lionel in this ep. But even though he wasn't present his presence was still felt.Him and Martha/MK emphasizing that he was "a good descent man" and him being behind the reason Clark is committed.
I still missed Lionel dialoge in this ep though
