In the SVVerse, the Martian Manhunter's already had to save Clark from being de-spinified by Batista, not to mention teaming up with Shelby to save him from Zoner-Dr. Hudson (who was definitely channelling Donald Pleasence in his role as Dr. Loomis in the "Halloween" film series).

When Clark fully embraces his destiny and his powers, he'll beat MM. As of now, the Martian Manhunter would mop the floor with him.

The Martian Manhunter now has Clark in a choke-hold. Clark turns toward Chloe, but he can barely hear her over the roar of the crowd. Clark has, not for the first time, forgotten that he has super-hearing.

Clark: (gasp) What?! (gasp) I'm kind of (gasp) busy (gasp) right now.

Chloe: ..eat ... ision

Clark is, by this point, feeling woozy. Chloe holds up a cigarette lighter. She flicks the lighter and waves it around. Clark looks confused. Chloe points to her eyes with one hand and waves the lighter around with the other. Clark looks even more confused for a few seconds, then passes out.

Chloe sighs, and jumps into the ring, waving the lighter at the Martian Manhunter. MM is terrified, and flies away at top-speed.
Clark slowly regains consciousness.

Clark: Wh-what happened?

Chloe: You won, Clark.

Clark: That's weird, because the last thing I remember--

Chloe: Oh, he just must have mind-whammied you or something. No, you, uh, saved the day, as usual.

Okay, here I voted for MM because the current MM vs. the current Supes (aka Clark Bent) is hands down easy pickins for the oreo lovin' alien.

Usually superman's kryptonian mind is powerful enough to refuse telepathic powers, even though he might not fight them off completely he still in a way manages to find something wrong; that is why Clark ended up in a Mental Institute because the creature couldn't complete take over his body as it would someone else.

But of course SV clark is an idiot so hey....

i dont think so. remember the first JLA cartoon episode. MM tried to reach into superman's mind. superman suffered very much pain. MM can dodge superman's punches. the only thing that MM can suffer from is superman's "eyes"...

well the few times they actually had a quarel in the comic books, MM could stun Superman but ultimately always lost. MM has similar abilities with both having their own unique traits but Supe tends to be faster and stronger. And those two things usually always helped him win.

I didn't think the manhunter was as fast as superman. I read this poll as superman(not SV clark), and i think there is no way manhunter beats him. It's a well-documented fact that there is only one character in all of fiction capable of beating superman: Batman, lol.

I am still getting a kick out of oreos having a higher percentage than MM

Actually in the comics, Superman himself stated that MM could be him. After he aquired his immunity to fire of course. Furthermore Plasticman is the strongest leaguer, specifically why Batman recruited him.

MM can 'phase out' or turn invisible so even with the heat vision, I honestly don't think any Superman, whether fully powered or Clark could really hurt MM. But, with the training, I think Clark could probably resist/mentally fight MM.

Clark vs. MM ==> MM wins
Superman vs. MM ==> stalemate

We don't see much of MM's powers in SV - he has severed the spine of someone with a handprint, and he has flown, and he has some sorta mind ability that involves a red gemstone‽

MM has never been too much of a warrior - and that "killer instinct" is what makes the difference when combatants are fairly evenly matched. Assuming they are really evenly matched. Sure MM can invisible fly away - but can he push out enough damage to so much as knock Clark out - and I assume that Kryptonite is out of the equation considering that I could beat up Superman with a set of Kryptonite knuckles.
