There are alot of questions to be answered on this show. I have a theory on all of them. The one thing I cant seem to wrap my head around is in my opinion the most obvious. The Eclipse!

What does it mean?
Is it foreshadowing?
Does help the plot?
Does it just look cool?

I even thought I saw it on Isaacs wall once. Correct me if I'm wrong. It has been really eating at me. The only thought I had was maybe who ever explodes is taken up in the sky and when everyone is looking at the explosion that is what it looks like. So I just firgured I would see if anyone else has noticed or thought about it. PLease let me know your opinion.

It is cool looking, but there has to be more to it than just the screen saver on my cell phone.

Do you mind being led to answering the question yourself or do you
prefer being told outright for everyone to see?

Assuming you don't mind being led to the answer - do you record
the show and are you able to review any of the episodes? Because
the answer is in each one of them at the end of the opening story
and BEFORE the first commercial break.

Review it tell me what you see.

I'm really surprised no one has made any mention of Chicxulub crater on the Yacatan Peninsula as hinted at following the opening scenes and before running the first set of commercials.

Look at the transition of the earth to your "eclipse". See the building glow of radiation at the Yacatan Peninsula (no it's NOT a specular reflection of the sun as it moves with the rotation as it is not stationary). We the observers are in retro-grade motion high above the earth bringing our view around to the dark-side of the planet comming up on the trailing day-side when the explosion hits creating the halo lighting of the atmosphere outlining the disk of the planet.

Hiro (time traveler), Nuclear threat, Dinosaur ...

ELE - Extiction Level Event

The "Eclipse" is really that of decline of the dinosaurs leading to the rise of Mammals and exvolution of Humans. All brought about the next evolutionary stepping of Humans ...

After all if you knew an non-stopable explosion was eminent and you had the ability to move it before it exploded where would you move it to without cuasing major environmental injury.

But wait you have a temporal-teleporter so the question then becomes "when" would you move it to without causing temporal anomolies.

So after reviewing that episode I feel more stupid than ever before. I dont see anything. I know Isaac has painted the event but that is all I can tell. So please just tell me, I dont mind.

I am gessing the eclipse is just cool looking and will be used for the following seasons. I doubt something from one episode in the first sweason wold stay in the main titles throughout the series. I think the eclipse is jsut cool looking.
