I didn't notice this, but my friend told me that in the scene where clark and chloe discover bart has been working for olliver, that the satellites were coming from Queen sattellies at WAYNE HEADQUARTERS. Can anyone verify this?

I thought so too, unless they were saying "Queen Industries" and I just though of Wayne....? Don't know, I thought I was the only one that thought that. lol.

wow

this is something big...I know Bruce'll be coming eventually in SV for at least an episode. DC knows that Batman is a huge draw and would have lots of positive feedback if done right...and it would be done right.

I feel Bruce Wayne will be making an appearance soon

either soon or next season- or last season.... I'll just check in subtitles to make sure I just heard what I wanted to hear- but, if it was definitely Wayne....

I have a feeling guys, that we may very well be seeing our favorite Dark Knight lurking in the shadows sometime in the future.

Unfortunately, Bruce Wayne has a huge "do not touch" sign on him, as does Diana Prince (Wonder Woman). SV can't use them. Honestly, if they could, don't you think it would have been Bruce Wayne delivering the break up speech to Lois tonight? (That's the only part of the show I've seen so far...)

Yeah,

feelings or no, with Batman movies coming out, no chance of Bats showing up anytime in the near future.

However, with a Superman/Batman movie already being planned for after the Begins and Returns sequels, WB needs to wise up and put Bruce on the show. They probably won't, but they should.

On that note, Smallville needs to get Green Lantern on there NOW before movie plans for him put him in the same category.

Positively no Bats in Smallville's belfrey.

So why so many Gotham refs this season?

HowardFilms

Gotham is touchy because a lot of DCU crosses over. If it's barely mentioned, no one is going to do anything about it.

But they've said time and time again that he won't be appearing. Sorry, but Oliver was our Batman.

He'll be on the show, he's the trump card. The show has proven to DC that its worth a Bruce appearance. The more iconic the episodes are, the better the ratings are. Its a no brainer.

Theres no "do not touch" sign for Bruce but instead a sign saying "In emergency break the bat-glass" for him.

What are you guys talking about??? Chloe clearly said: "Queen Industries" NOT "Wayne Enterprises"

 thank you. Let the ratings take a huge dip....and we'll see batman and robin!

I definitely heard Queen, not Wayne.

I don't know what I heard, ironically, I seemed to zone out for a minuite during that part. If it was Wayne, I think I might just have a heart attack and die happy. Wait, no I'm not either, or I'll never see if Batsy ever makes it to Smallville...

No, i re-watched it, and Chloe clearly said "Queen Industries Satellite," not "Wayne Industries Satellite." Queen and Wayne dont even sound similiar. We just want Batman, or a reference to him on Smallville so bad, that were hearing/imagining things. Thats not a good sign. The creators and people behind "Smallville" should listen to the fans because they know what they want. If they start listening to us more, the show will get even better : )

I didn't hear any wane reference, but one of the Queen Industries subsidiaries was called JL International, LOL!

Didn't notice the Wayne reference, but I did notice a Wonder Woman reference. They find out Bart's working with Artemis something. Diana is the Roman name for the Greek Goddess Artemis.

Sorry if this has already been posted.

I recorded the episode so I've played it back a half dozen times and NO WHERE did I hear "Wayne Headquarters." I heard JL Industries, Artemis Global Consortium, and Queen Industries but no "Wayne"-anything.

What are you guys talking about?

Yep, definitely no Wayned Industries. It was Queen Industries.

 So true. The fangirl in me positively squealed with glee with those posters from Hydro confirmed that the Metropolis rainy night shot was actually a scene from Batman Begins. I really didn't catch that one.

I took that more as a reference to the "huntress" aspect of Artemis. As goddess of the hunt, she's pretty much always shown with a full quiver and a silver bow :) She's the Archer of the Mt Olympus crew, and it IS Green Arrow's company, after all.

Chloe was reading off of the computer screen. Definitive proof that she did not say "Wayne": http://www.dccb.net/mamruot/pictures/ArtemisConsortium.jpg

What is cool, though, is JL International.

Wow, thanks for that screencap Reign. I'm more interested in their three specialties:

"Transformational Change, Diversity, and Leadership"

Is it a little hint at someone coming soon, a shoutout to other Justice Leaguers, or just filler text? Those seem like mighty interesting word choices for text that's just there to fill in the spaces.

I definatly heard Queen and not Wayne industries. I don't expect to see batman in the show but I really wouldn't be suprised if he did show up at some point.

I'd love to see Bruce Wayne on the show- hopefully he'll be able to come in for an episode next season, as there is no chance that he would appear this year.

Yeah, I've just been through that scene like ten times and I can't find a Wayne reference anywhere.

Interestingly enough, however, I read over at The Many Faces of... Batman right here on KryptonSite that series creators Al Gough and Miles Millar have admitted that Adam Knight (from season 3) was originally intended to be their take on Bruce Wayne. Too bad that one turned it out like it did.

Just watched it myself.

"... a satellite company currently orbiting... 'Queen' Industries?" - Chloe.

As much as I and everyone else would like to see Batman, I doubt it'll happen in this season; there's enough introduction of new and old heroes that I think adding a veteran like -that- could actually ruin the show. Future episodes may have difficulty in following in the currents' footsteps if they start introducing vast numbers of new heroes.

I think what we have in front of us is perfect for what we need... just can't wait to see Crimson. :)

Green Lantern would be the best superhero to see on the show. I love the lantern almost as much as I love Martian Manhunter. I am content to see my 2nd fav superhero next to Clark show up next week.
