How come Lana is always out of town when things go down?

When anything big goes down-tonight and with the immigration and moleman, Lana is out of town. Lana is doing alot of trans-atlantic traveling for a pregnant woman. I guess the writers can't come up with a way for Lex to explain to Lana whats going on without her 'compromising' her values and Lex lying to her face, so they ship/plane her out of town

Yeah, they had to get rid of her this episode since every single scene mentioned the word 33.1 and what Lex was doing with it.

Yeah, I think they backed out somewhat of turning Lana evil...which I would have liked better than her eternal waffling and securing of backup boyfriends

:lol: true even in sub she was gon while he dug into level 33.1 she's never around to see it and eat her words to chloe about it not existin.But I think it was for the best tho cause whenever she's around lex seems more focus on her than when she's out of town and he feels free.

And I think that TPTB really screwed up Static with Lana's character when she told Lex that she would be ok with level 33.1. If that was the case, then why not have her in Justice teaming up with Lex? I think it's quite clear that Lana would never approve of this place.

THATS why I loved this episode. I think this ep. was more about the action and the growing of Superman than the drama, confusion, and lies that Lexana brings to the show. We are definitely better off without them.

i'm so glad she wasn't in the epside. that would of just meant that the JLA wouldn't have gotten much air time, and each member would have had 2 lines, tops, becasue they would've been focusing on her. just like the rest of this season so far.

Because Lex doesn't want her to know anything about the bad things he does. Plus, you can't have a badass evil Lex as you did in this episode with Lana around (not until she starts finding out what he's all about).

The episode was great because of the JLA, Lana was definitely missing though. If what I believe is correct a lot of fans are going to change their opinion on Lana pretty soon

Yes, but how long can Lex fly a pregnant Lana around and out of the country? I guess a few more fittings for her dress in Paris-that could be another episode or two. (Lex, I really don't want to see the new art show in Sidney- I am having some pain, I might be in labor) and it's amazing to hear Nell's name after how many seasons? Lana seemed to forget she existed for the last few seasons.

It is so funny when Lana isn't around Lex grows a pair. When she is around him the way he acts you wonder if he wears a skirt sometimes.
