Justice was a great episode of Smallville. So, I decided to see who prefers what Justice League. Do you all love the Bruce Timm's JLU over Smallville's Justice League or do you prefer the live action one instead? Place your vote.

I've never been a fan of the animated series of Superman or the Justice League. A bit over the top and I HATE the way they draw Superman/Clark Kent. I voted for Smallville because it was an all around great episode and I love realistic portrayals of comic book heroes.

The Justice episode was awesome but I have to vote for the animated JLU. It has five seasons of awesomeness (and they don't have budget restrictions on people's powers! ;) )...and it was really what got me into the characters and made me excited for smallville's incarnation of the JLA.

Great to hear how JLU has been an influence on this episode. That walk away scene was straight out of the Justice League show.

Had to admit its a tough choice but the episode came across well for its characters and it left me really wanting to see what happened next to them whilst in the JLU I was more interested in the Question and Green Arrow although I did thoroughly enjoy the episode where Wonder Woman was turned into a pig if only for the unorthodox way Batman saved Wonder Woman.

Green Arrow in JLU is usually well worth watching even the pugilist episode with Wildcat however weak was worth it just to show his tenacity, although the Question edges him out purely because any episode he's in is a joy to behold.

But the Smallville Justice League gets my vote purely because I see a potential dynamic in their interaction that was what was really best in Classic Star Trek and its main characters as well as for Stargate.
I'll stop there before I get boring (or more so)

JLU. Superman wasn't a featured player but the stories were just incredible. There was continuity and an over all arc. Luthor was evil yet human.

It was the best use of the full DCU (DC universe) I've ever seen outside the comic books. One episode would be funny, thought provoking, romantic, and scary. The writing was phenomenal, the voice talent excellent (including SV's own MR)

JLU, no contest. It's by far a much better show, action wise, and through writing too. Smallville can only hope to be as good as Bruce Timm's JLU someday.

I have to say JL/JLU, (if only talking about Justice League material). Some of the episodes were over-the-top, but all of them were interesting. Plus, you got to see the characters really use their abilities (animated, yes, but they really showed them off well with the direction).

Of course, there are, what, five seaons of JL, and one episode of SV JL. Considering budget, available characters (would be nice to see a female leaguer in there, like the Black Canary), and time constraints, I say they did a great job. Especially with GA and Flash.

I pick JLU because they had more characters...no power restrictions only thing I didn't like is they always win at the end. the thing i hate about smallville villians is they end up dying like Tina Greer who I thought was a great villian and I like that fact she hit on Lana as chloe...haha...I want another Lana stalker/lesbianish type episode....I want to see a new Justice episode called..." Justice Lost?" where Ollie returns and has bad news...that cyborg, aquaman and bart seemingly perished in a explosion at a 33.1 facuility in china. than ollie calls in the unexpected...black canary, the question ( who would be a older guy) martian manhunter is thrown into the mix and Wally West who happens to be a cousin of bart's ollie has been in contact with since he became a police scientist and barry allen, bart's uncle. so ollie was hoping for barry and he got wally. so the new JL with clark added go after one of the last 33.1 facuilities which is located in Hub City which is also in Kansas home of the question and clark again goes off half cocked and gets captured this time but not by lex...by someone else and when lex is about to be informed that a farm looking boy was caught...the replacement JL comes in and takes charge of the situation, well some of the new members end up finding a brainwashed cyborg, bart and AC....that would make a great follow up to " Justice"

" War Animal here...switching to silent running...watchtower standby for further instructions.."

I picked the animated version because as much as I like Michael Rosembaum as Lex, he does a dynamite performance voicing the animated Flash, aka Wally West!

I'm glad to see how much many of you out there respect JLU as well as the rich history of the DC Universe as a whole. Suddenly, I don't feel alone anymore. Thank you.

I would vote superfriends.
But I absolutely hate Wendy, Marvin, Zan, and Janna.

jlu all the way. For JL, "starcrossed" is some of the best tv animation i've ever seen, and everything Timm and Dini touched was golden.

The thing i hated about JLU was friggen superman was way under powered. I like how Batman, Flash, GL, and the rest were used but Superman seemed to be there mainly just to be not left out. I guess the problem would be, he could take care of most situations without any of the leaguers so they have to power him down. If anyone has played the video game, besides GA having so much friggen power, it in my opinion showcases their powers pretty good. Except for bland baddies and not being able to change characters for stages it was a good game for now.

JLU of course. you can see how strong superman is and how amazing batman is. i just love JLU.

but in JLU, green arrow is not what it is in SV JL. thats the only part i am disappointed.

oh, and SV JL doesnt have hot red head birdy :) i love hawkgirl and i hate that she is in love with GL. i want her to myself !!!

ps: i am drunk.

In JLU Green Arrow is still the same age as Superman, hence the reason he acts differently.

Honestly the Justice team seems more like the Teen Titans (considering Cyborg no less) than the mighty Justice League.
