Rivers don't have shorelines and docks? I grew up on the James River and it had both of those....

In the smallvilleverse there is a big river that Metropolis is on. We just have to accept it...otherwise how would Aquaman have been able to be any help at all? ;)

How did he help, did he use his waterballs(no pun intended)? In Aqua, they also had mountains and Crater Lake led to the ocean. Of course Mexico doesn't get in the way of the ocean for AC, but yeah.

Did they ever say it was happening in Metropolis? 'course it'd be hard to explain how everyone got from the Watchtower to somewhere else so fast - unless GL's got a green jet (maybe he designs the invisible one for WW...lol)

They said the Ridge facility was on the outskirts of Metropolis by the docks. So not too far from Ollie's penthouse it would seem.

Remember, this is Smallville. The writers have their own interpretation of Kansas. Don't think about it at all, just
hit yourself in the head with a mallet, until you start
thinking about something else.

British Columbia has a shore line right?
Never been there just guessing.
Ever since I saw mountains in kansas one episode. I made my peace with the fact we don't film in Kansas.
I cut the production staff some slack.
If I can believe in Krypton , I can believe in anything.

Yeah...everything got pretty screwed up by the 80's Superman movies. Smallville was originally, in the comics, in western MD, not too far from where I live, actually, and both Gotham and Metropolis were on the East Coast. Saw it on wikipedia under "Smallville" the entry on the fictional town, not the series

Smallville is filmed in Vancouver, so it is right along the ocean, just like Seattle. Yeah, the mountains in the background can be a little jarring for "Kansas", but where the farm house is located in Aldergrove, just outside Vancouver proper, is flat farmland just like you would expect in Kansas. No mountains there.

In a parallel Earth-their Kansas is one part farm land and one part city with a coastline
