Superpowers - what will we see?

Well I'm sure we'll see at least one ability from each JL member, but what all will we see from Clark? We've got Bart for speed, and Cyborg for strength. What will Clark do? I think in order to stand out we need to see X-Ray vision, Heat vision, *and* Superbreath. Most of all I just want to see him use superbreath again. It's been too freaking long. TPTB need to learn to stop hating that power and show us what they can do with it.

Superbreath was freaking awesome. I miss it and wish that theyd do more with it. Speaking of powers, is it just me, or has Clark not done really any of them. We know that he has heat vision, x-ray, strength, and can leap very tall but we havent seen any of these really. Are their budgets focused on certain things only for a season or something? I want to see more powers and destiny especially since season 7 is rumored to be the last season, but i hope that it isnt. 8 or 9 seasons would be great for me : ) How can they wrap up the phantom, Lois and Clark, Jimmy, Lana and Chloe going somewhere, Lex's true evil, Clarks destiny and the ultimate, him becoming Superman. With about 22 episodes a season and about 11 left of this, theres no way that they can cover all of that throughly and justifiably in 33 episodes, i just dont see it. Does anyone else agree with me. Please, reply : ) By the way, what does TPTB mean? Its been bugging me for a long time. Please answer. Thanks for listening to me : )

I agree with you Dustin. I mean, their budget(s) cannot be THAT low, why not just cancel Supernatural and make Smallville a bigger hit? I mean, I'm a fan of both shows but Smallville has got more potential than anything. Can we just see Clark stop a train because it was derailed or something? Have him, as Dustin mentioned, leap a tall building? Point is, Clark is dumb, he doesn't know HOW to fly or the writers don't want him to? The Human Torch, just in a few days, he discovered flight. Come on writers!

Raith, yea, thats what im saying. This is supposed to be Clarks journey to becoming Superman but what journey have we uktimately seen altogether. The writers are taking baby steps and avoiding the overall picture. For some odd reason, they chose to have "to tights, bo flights" which, ahem, is Superman. Might as well have "Lord of the Rings" without the ring, like PB & J too, you need both parts. For being on te air for 6 years now, i would think the people behind "Smallville" would have a big enough budget to do more tan a few things a season. There are plenty of other unpopular shows worth cancelling on The CW. Cancel one or two of those and lets help make "Smallville" even greater into being one of the best series ever. Oh, and please show Superbreath and the other powers more. Just because the producers dont like the power of Superbreath, dosent mean that they should never show it again. Thats a personal preference and us fans want to see it and the show is made for us. Lets hoping the reason of this season, and its rumored last season, next season (which i hope its not, 8-9 sea's would do great : )), will be nothing short of Super : )
