Chloe kicked so much butt in this episode. So, are people's fears quelched now who think she took away from the JL cause she was in on it? You wouldn't want one of the guys doing what she did because then they'd be away from all the action. It's like what some of us said before, she fulfilled her role in Mortal. Guiding them through the building.

I agree her role tonight was similar to mortal and I thought it fit her involvement espcially since she knows of all of them.And lmao @ her tellin oliver she knows of Ga/Vic/AC/Bart and how her and clark r jus that close/dont keep things from each other.It shows that chlark has alot of faith in each other and is a good setup for her bein the 1 to believe him next week imo.

I thought they tied her very well back into the A plot but no mention of the VCs was sad.

I think that was the most interesting of all - proof that Mortal was all orchestrated by Lex, and IMO, even more so that Lex was out to get her secrets in Tomb. I hope we see more of Belle Reve and it's tie ins to 33.1, but who knows.

Ha! Well that might be what Ollie said, but it's pretty clear from the whole ep that Ollie was wrong about his assumptions (like Clark flying solo.)

Chloe worked her story like any real reporter would, and helped out the JLers when asked (by Clark). And Clark thinks she's one of his awesome friends as well as trusting her above everyone else in the ep - so the girl isn't doing too shabby. :)

Well I think it's interesting that as my older brother said when we watched the episode - Ollie basically had the wake up call that Clark wasn't sitting on his butt nor was he being a loner. And partner!Chloe was the one who delievered it herself.

GREAT Chloe Ep.! I don't think she had too much screen time - it was perfect and Clark is the one who put her on the team - I love it!! Loved Ollie's face when Chloe showed up and I didn't get to watch it again last night (I know, shame....tivoed though) but it struck a chord somewhere when the JLs were getting ready to blow up the building and Clark needed to hear it from Chloe directly that everyone was out of the building - it wasn't enough she was in Ollie's ear about it - he needed her in his ear and not as a co-dependent thing as a "She is the only one I trust" thing.

I noticed this as well.. I'm so glad that Clark completely trusted Chloe in this episode.. there was NO hesitation. I love their relationship so much. I hope its more someday but if not, I'll cry but then I'll remember all these wonderful scenes they have had together and the fact that they are indeed trusting and loyal to one another.. I hope that never changes..

Finally we have an episode where it is made crystal clear how much exactly Clark trusts Chloe. To have Chloe spell it out for Ollie, was the highlight of the episode for me. His reactions to her knowing were priceless. :D

love these two , there only relationship that is all about trust and being open with each other it's a stark contrast to lex/clark , clark/lana, lex/lana , chloe/lana and well every other one too and every ep they keep making the point that honesty and no secret and lies is the only way to have a healthy freindship/relationship and what makes the Chloe and Clark partnership more satisfying is that these two had to earn it took years to get where they are now.

I know, I SO agree, too!! Even though some people say that Bart is too young or too little for Chloe...he is darn cute!! His smile is cute and when he was flirting with Chloe in front of Clark I almost died of happiness! Bart is cute when teases Clark too and calls him things like, "Stretch.." Exactly! Frankly, I'd love to see Clark pine over Chloe for awhile.. maybe he'd realize whats been staring him in the face for years... she deserves the love and admiration that Clark could give her if he'd just open up his eyes..
