I won't vote until the full episode airs, but based on the 12 minute preview, it most certainly will.

After that 12-min preview, I take back all of my consternations regarding the possibility Chloe being a SuperChloe or a LaptopGirl in this episode. Seems like she really have something to contribute in this episode, good for her! Am really tired of her being just a plot device this whole time.

IMO chloe allways has something more than plot device to add to the show .I still can't understand what people's problem are with her . If you watch previous seasons she slowly bulit up all these skills .

If you use the argument that people say Chloe is a plot device just because they're biased against her character, then it's the same thing when people keep saying that Lois is just used for comic relief and eye candy and completely ignores any of her positive attributes.
I don't want to turn this into yet another Chloe vs. Lois or Chlois thread or whatever so I'll just leave it here. I myself am a great fan of both characters, and I can readily admit any of their flaws and praise their strengths. They're two very distinctive characters in their own rights, and that's one thing that I enjoy about Smallville.
To get back on topic, I'm sure it will live up to the hype :) It doesn't have to be Reckoning all over again.

This Ep was a breath of fresh air to the few of us that are sick of all the soap opera relationships. More of these Eps plz!

Yup, I guess she built up hacking skills and all sorts of reverse engineering and circuits from highschool classes and freshman college classes.
For stuff like that, you would have to be a total computer nerd, which Chloe was not. From there, she would then have to go to some hacking school offered by the FBI or some other law enforcement group. What Chloe had before was contacts who helped her in these departments. By giving her all these skills that she has never learned, it is using her as a plot device.
In seasons 1-4, she was well-written and the way she was supposed to be. The stuff that started in Mortal was totally different than anything Chloe had done before that. I hate this, because I liked Chloe very much in her original role as Clark's friend. Now she's just a solution to anything that they're too lazy to resolve otherwise.

It wasnt the be-all-end-all episode to end all episodes, but it was undoubtedly a great ride

^^ Me too!!! But it turned out to be absolutely perfect and completely amusing!!!
i thought the episode REALLY lacked. they could have made it so incredible, but they skipped over so many great possible scenes between the characters. they could have made it a two part epi, but nooooo, they wanted to keep it "short and "sweet", but somehow made it bitter tasting. er... bad analogy i know, i was never good at making them. anyways, the epi was about a six for me, which sucks big time when i thought it would blow a hole through the ratings' roof.

First off the Daily Planet fly by was really cool...
The teams actually doing something awesome was nice, blowing up the LuthorCorp Building.
I think its awesome that now he as "great friends". Especially since now that they are taking care of Lex, he has time now to take care of the Zoners.

The episode lived up to the hype for it. AS other posters said yea it would have been great for a two parter or if they had the episode be longer u know 2hrs or hr and a half like season 4 finale and all that.

It did not live up to the hype. In fact the way Clark was protrayed in this episode gave me just as much punch to the gut as Reckoning. This season thus far has been ruined.
I'm voting: Yeah, it was okay.

Now I just wish there was more. The one thing that they did was leave the fans (us) thirsting for more Justice League. I mean who would have though a bunch of kids getting together to kick ass would be so cool?
Notice that there is 5 of them, not counting Chloe since she doesn't have "super powers" or anything. As it was stated in the spoilers that she would act as the "Oracle" of the group. (Barbara Gordon for Batman in the Comics). 5 is also a number associated with the "Power Rangers". Though all incarnations of the Justice League has been with 7 members. Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern, Aquaman and the Martian Manhunter
Now that everyone has had a "taste of justice" it would be safe to assume that that episode has been a success (even with the cheesy exit at the end when the Ridge Facility blew up.)

I intentionally didn't get hyped up about the episode (in fact, I was kind of bracing myself for a flop of an episode), due to past abominations (like Reckoning). But, I was pleasantly surprised. It would've been nice if Clark could've done more action-wise, but this is definitely in my top five for favorite episodes ever (a rarity, considering I've only just watched it).

I think it was okay. I was excited when I first heard that the episode will feature all these guys and I knew it would be awesome to see them and Clark all work together. But after that, I tried not to get my hopes up too high because I knew it could possibly be a let down as much as Reckoning was.
Well, it wasn't a let down, not was it the best episode. But the reason I was disappointed was Clark. I hated the way he was written here. It didn't feel like he was part of the team. I also thought he was bit too cold to Bart during their first scenes. I liked their scenes in "Run" better.
Oliver was the star of the episode. Clark needed Chloe and the team to save him.
Other than that, it was entertaining. So I'm not really complaining here, just a little disappointed.

My opinion is it didn't. I loved the episode and it was probably the best so far this season. It had a lot of great moments and was entertaining and all but it still seemed to fall flat for me.
Part of is it felt rushed (should have been either a 2 hour event or a 2 parter), part was that with so many heroes everyone only got a bit of the story. A big part of it was that I was hoping for more Bart.
So yeah, though I really liked and enjoyed it I don't think it lived up to the Hype.

This episode lived up to the hype plus more. Itwas a great episode and the best one in the season in my opinion.

The problem is, we the viewers create the hype, so therefore, we let our own opinions make the decision on whether or not it lived up to it and that's why most of the time it's a let down.
What I did was sit back and enjoy the episode for what it was, not what I expected to be. And it was a great episode.

I was not satisfied. I think the problem was due to a lack of a challenge and no suspense. The only problems that had to be overcome was Bart trying to get out of the cell and Clark once again becoming a BDA & succumbing to kryptonite for a very stupid reason. I wanted there to be more danger and for the JLA to have gone through a lot more challenges before winning. It just wasn't there. Things were too easy for them and the battle was way too 1-sided. Lex having some freaks at the heart of the facility to protect it would have been a nice addition and probably made the episode great.

Next time the league shows up and it should at least once a season it needs at least one woman in it. But for it being a introduction to the justice league episode it was great and beat my expectations.

problem is even in the comics clark is just there and the story revolces with the people around him and becuaseof his powers he cannot just meet a villan seval time in a episode like batman in fight most times clark fights once or twice and the usely one of those time he barely uses his powers.
it would have been nice to see the 5 accidently release a villan that they had to take down as a group instead of it ending as it did.

For me, Justice was worth ALL of the hype. And then some.
It's the only time I've EVER watched an episode of Smallville, then watched it again straight after.
For me, this is the pinnacle of television entertainment.
Screw Lost... Screw Heroes for that matter. Just as long as the writers take note of what we say, and continue to do the series...well... Justice.
