There was this moment in the trailers for this episode when Lex said, "Its hard knowing whether you'll ever be worthy of someones love..." did he say that in the episode? Maybe I jus turned away but I don't remember hearing him say that.

He says, "The hardest part has been wondering why you're not giving me an answer. At least now I know," or something, and then later he said, "You get bitter and vengeful, and then you meet someone who's so good she might actually be the only one capable of loving you." Or something to that effect.

I heard that line in the spoiler previews, but I don't recall it actually happening in the episode. Maybe the changed/removed it or maybe I just missed. It is also possible I tuned it out since I don't pay as much attention when its Lexana on the screen.

I didn't hear that quote also clark said "eating at you" istead of "killing you" in the previews. This line was when clark went to see lana.
