Lois only likes Superheroes

It was set up beautifully in Hydro. Lois is enamored with the Green Arrow and will no longer be interested in Oliver. This is the perfect setup for a future of Lois having the hots for Sup and no interest in Clark. Also, we may have seen Clark's heart being changed towards Lois last night. That would set up the scenario perfectly. I am happy that we finally got to see a different Lois other than the smart aleck I've grown to loathe. There was no calling Clark "Smallville" and she actually came to him for help in a sincere way. They worked together to "solve" a dilemma just as they will in the future as sidekick reporters, although she doesn't know that Clark was a double agent in that prank. Welling directed this episode and we see his emphasis on the personal relationships advancing and less on the super skills. He threw one guy against a billboard and used superspeed but other than that it was about the characters intracting and developing. Of course, perhaps the greatest event of last night is the official death of Clana. That has been beaten to death for far too long and it's time to move on. I expect Lana to lose the baby after marrying Lex and for them both to be miserable ever after.

you could be right in the future of oliver and lois..but i wouldn't say enamored with GA and no longer interested in Ollie persay. she did say she was in love with Ollie...i mean at the time being, but the human heart and mind does weird things. But for now I think she just really liked the kiss! :D

I believe she said she was in love with Ollie before the incident in the alley. Go back to the scene in the apartment where she said that the GA could teach Ollie a thing or two about kissing. She was like a giddy school girl. There was a purpose in that scene imho, particularly with Chloe grinning from ear to ear and needling Clark. Ollie will leave the scene, will not be a regular on Smallville and the story line will advance with Lois being smitten by a guy in a costume who can throw people effortlessly against a billboard and leave the scene with superspeed. Ollie can't measure up against that criteria and neither can the Green Arrow. It's all a setup to advance Lois' fascination with superheroes and it will culminate of course with Superman, not Ollie and not the GA. Just another reason why I hope they continue the series as "Metropolis" and continue to develop the characters and relationships.

Actually she said she THINKS shes in love with Oliver... thats not exactly set in stone. And yeah she has a fascination with heroes, as was told in Aqua, where she tells Clark "Ive known alot of guys who want to own the world, I havent met very many who actually want to save it. Where am I going to meet someone like that again?" But the thing is with GA, I dont think she will be enamoured as much with him as she was trying to figure out if it was Oliver, because I think she was willing to accept what the GA does because it was her boyfriend, but now that its not, well shes made it known that she sees the GA as a threat and both her and Clark though his methods were wrong. I loved Chloe egging both Lois and Clark on, it was so funny... she was getting a kick out of it.

Lois does seem attracted to superheros, but she said she loves Ollie. She didn't even want to know his secret at some point. I think she's prone to be attracted to heros, but fully capable of loving the nobody-man. I agree that is foreshadowing of her relationship with Clark/Superman.

Also, I liked it that Clark seems to consider Lois in a romantic light while she's interested in a hero... though she doesn't know Clark was the hero she thought was her love interest :D

I can't wait until "Justice" when both Aquaman and Green Arrow are on screen, given that Lois all but said she would wait for Arthur. She does seem to be working her way through them with alarming speed, I'm pretty sure there are several comics when she dates Bruce Wayne aswell...

Maybe she likes guys known by their initials: AC, GA, CK...

I think Lois doesnt particularly like superheroes as much as she likes men that have a bigger purpose than themselves and their own petty aspirations and actually try to do good in the world, going by what she said in Aqua, I could easily see her with a peace corpse guy, or a enviromentalist, I dunno I just got that vibe..

Also, as Al or Miles stated before, they want to forshadow Lois having a thing for Superheroes, however I think the over did it a notch.

And it seemed to me that she was confused and nervous, even trying to excuse Ollie when she said that she robs from the rich to give to the poor.

I just had a crazy thought.

What if after Justice Clark agrees to keep an eye on things in Metropolis and temporarily takes over for Oliver as GA? And what might happen if he ran into Lois again?
