*First time he's mentioned in the Daily Planet!

*First time he saved someone in costume! (and surprisingly seemed to enjoy it!)

It was fantastic to not see Chloe running, to Clark for help. There was also the Jimmy/Lois thing happening :D.

There was alot of Anvil/Iconic things in this episode. I mean come on Lois tells Clark that Oliver could tell her he was from Mars and she would find it an endearing quirk! Replace Oliver with Clark and Mars with Krypton and there ya go.. I love anvils lol

Yeah, you definitely needed a tiny umbrella for this episode.

(think Wyle E. Coyotee, if that allusion is confusing)

Clark might have been in the Daily Planet before, considering that Baern in Fallout found him through the Planet's archives (unless that was the Smallville Ledger and they share databases?).

Definitely major milestones for him this ep regardless.

He was mentioned before that in that article about the discovery of the caves. You could see the reflection of the screen on Baern's/Lamar's face when he's going through the Daily Planet archives. I think that clarified that it was a DP article and not something from the Smallville Ledger or the Inquisitor.

Hmm, come to think of it, it wouldn't surprise me if Clark works for the Ledger when he starts getting interested in journalism. That would leave Chloe at the DP, Lois at the Inquisitor, and Clark at the Smallville Ledger.

That didnt make front page?! Are you sure? Why else would Chloe ask if Clarks seen the DP? Its not like he'd flip to some Lifestyles section.

I think that made front page news. Or at least it seemed implied by Chloe's question.
