That made it even better, Clark has zero skill at archery and they showed that.

I don't think they showed any lack of archery skill, since he never fired an arrow. Even though he fumbled with the quiver (which was hilarious), Clark Kent/Superman has perfect hand-eye coordination and aim (they showed this when he plays basketball) so he would make a naturally great archer.

I have no doubt he would be a perfect shot with a bow, I meant more of him being unfamiliar with the equipment.
Thus the fumbling at the quiver.
