Talk about Clark's heroics in Hydro or perhaps a lack of them here.

I wonder if this is the episode where Clarkie is dressed up as the GA? I hope we get to see him shooting an arrow. Go Clarkie!!

i have a feeling we'll be seeing less BDA this year. with the upcoming spoliers pointing towards a more proactive clark kent for the new year i can only hope his lana pining days are over. less attention to ships more attention to clarks destiny.

Clark sure did like playing superhero (i.e. dressing up as one) instead of just hero. He even had a hairstyle that looked more like Superman's than usual. Go Clark!!

It's funny how he liked being in a costume, but from the previews of next week's episode, is the only one not wearing one.
Anyway, I think Clark was the most heroic this episode in the arena of morals & ideals. I liked how he stayed away from Lana because it was the right thing to do. He didn't 1 time try to poison her mind about Lex or try to put ideas in her head that Lex could have gotten her pregnant purposely after what Lex told him. This shows improvement over how he acted in Fade.

I didn't get that he particularly liked being in the costume. He helped out one friend and apologised for being an ass to Chloe and that was long overdue, to be sure.
He did go to talk to Lana but didn't because Lex refused to allow it and of course, dropped the bombshell on him. I hardly think even Clark would claim Lex deliberately got her pregnant! That's up to Lana as much as Lex, after all. Lana sleeps with the devil and gets pregnant then that's her problem and her fault. He may legitimately think Lana was mislead by Lex but there again, it was Lana who ran to Lex, her back-up BF everytime she was unhappy with Clar and Lana who raced to the mansion the night Clark told Lana he didn't love her. That puts the ball in Lana's court; it's time she took responsibility for the stupid and nasty things she has done and Clark is making excuses for her by claiming it was not her fault. lana's a big girl and if she can't see the obvious, that Lex is using./ lying to her and up to no good then that's her problem and she has to suffer the consequences.

Yup, it is about damn time Lana takes responsibility for her actions. It's funny, but if you go back to Magnetic, had Lex not saved her, she would have learned her lesson far earlier than she will now. By not paying for it back then, she will pay much more in the near future.
He did like being in costume as a result of that grin he had on his face. This isn't the first time he has been happy in costume. He liked the cape of his Zorro costume in Thirst.
I do think he was being an ass to Chloe, and that she should no reason not to accept the apology since she did much worse back in season 3 with feeding Lionel info on him and all the other stuff in Truth. I think they should be cool from now on.

i just didn't like that Clark had nothing to do the the FOTW this time, and that chloe and lana defeated her on their own.

I know. It would have been the perfect time for him to use the 2nd function of superbreath to freeze her in her water state.

I guess there just wasn't any budget for that kind of a scene. Though you gotta admit, a life sized ice sculptore of Miss Spelling with that "Oh sh*t" look on her face at the end would've been friggin hilarious!
My favorite part was when Clark was fumbling for an arrow. He accurately showed that just because he was wearing the costume, he really had no idea how to actually "be" Green Arrow. Tom Welling pulled that off well.

I know. I wonder if Lois spotted that. I guess not.
As for heroics (or morals in this case), I think Clark had his mind made up as soon as Lex told him about the baby that Lana was a no-go and anything Lana would say to him (as in later in the loft) would not make a difference.
Lana (from Accelerate): This might sound silly... but I have this fear that-- that one day you'll finally get a good look at me and... I'm going to disappoint you. That you'll see that I'm not as strong or as good as you think I am. And I'm afraid that it'll change the way you feel about me.
The day referred to in the above Lana quote has finally come. It was obvious that he still loved her in some form after Hypnotic, but after this, I'm pretty sure the blinders are fully off.

I think another heroic of his was the loyalty to a fellow superhero and helping him conceal his identity. I liked how he actually seemed to go along with Lois' plan to see if Ollie was the GA and didn't create excuses, which would have made her suspicious of him. He clearly didn't show any BDA signs in this episode other than wasting time with everyone and not going after the zoners but that's TPTB's fault.

The only "super" thing he did in the way of powers was the quick exit after sucking face with Lois.
Unless I blinked and missed something.

Nah, that's pretty much all he did. Though I couldn't help but notice the look on his face right after he ducked into the next corner and pulled off Green Arrow's shades and hood. Looked like Lois really took his breath away!

I'm glad in a way that not a lot happened because I'm hoping they saved the budget for "Justice".....can't wait to see it ever since I saw the trailer....GO ON SON. If I was making it i'd have realy saved the budget. I'd have had Clark go on a fishing trip by him self and the pay off would have come at the end of the episode where Clark catches a fish......but then throws it back to show his sensetive, caring side.
