Sure, I love Smallville, but it's not my favorite nor is it the best. -- Not what the thread is about please don't respond to it.
I've had such a void left in my life since Buffy and Angel were taken off TV. After that, television wasn't really worth watching for me. Unless it was Smallville, or say Stargate. Those still didn't come close to the enjoyment I had while watching B&A.
Then Heroes came on. I missed the first episode, but found it on a rerun the night before episode 2 was to be put on the air. WOW.. I was like holy crap, my TV void has been filled!. The character developments are so wonderful, you actually feel for the characters in this show. Like B&A, Joss made you love the characters, whether they are good or evil. I'm feeling this way towards Heroes too.
I am so anxious for the new episode next week. It's all I can think about for the past several days!. I'm a little worried for the show, however. It's being put on the same timeslot as 24. That's suicide, but I hope the show will pull through despite being put against such a powerhouse in TV ratings.
