Star Trek Next Gen, end of Season 3 - The Best of Both Worlds: "Mr Worf... FIRE"

Shame the resolution wasn't as good as the cliff hanger.

Angel, season 3, final episode! Cordy becomes a Higher Being, Angel is placed at the bottom of the sea by Connor and Jasmine, thus missing his meeting with Cordy at Point Dume, much as she is forced to miss that meeting as well!
The whole episode was so dark, gloomy and dramatic, simply fantastic! Even more so since it was the last good episode of the entire five seasons of Angel, since well season 4 and 5 generally sucked!
The finale of Grey's Anatomy second season was also great! Katherine Heigl did a great job!

Hmmm, probably Buffy season 2 finale The Becoming.... the fight between her and evil Angelus and then right before she has to stab him through the portal, the spell Willow does works and hes back to good Angel, and she has to kill him anyway... its sad *sniffle* and then she leaves Sunnydale.

The 24 season 2 finale was really good, with a big shock at the end. Shame they never really followed up on it much (well, I guess they do in 24 the game.)

And I agree with Angel season 3. It's one of those cliffhangers that makes you go crazy knowing you have to wait months to see the resolution.

Actually, the guy who orders the attempt on Palmer's life is never seen again except in 24 the game.

I admit that the virus thing was loosely picked up in season 3, hence 'never really followed up on it much'.

the guy wasnt, but the assasin was, I give credit for them bringing her back cuz most tv shows wouldnt have thought to do that. much like them bringing milo back, they would have just made a whole nother character.

"Friends"....Season 5, where Ross and Rachel got married in Vegas..by far my favorite season finale of all time. :D

"Sex and the City"...Season 4...Mr Big leaving for California and Miranda giving birth to Brady.

I like the Season Finales for Seasons 1 and 4 of 24. In the first one, Jack's wife dies and then in the fourth one, Jack "dies". I like the symbolism at the end of 4, where you just see Jack walking away into the sunrise, like he's walking away at last from his life at C.T.U. and is really, truly embracing a new life for the first time (before Day 5 began, that is).

Also, the Season One finale for Smallville will always be a favorite for me.

The Season Seven Finale for Seinfeld was hilarious.

And that's all I can think of right now.

season 1 was ryan going back to chino b/c he thought he had a kid, season 2 with marissa shooting trey (best one IMO), and season 3 with marissa dying. awesome =] im SOOOOO madd this show is cancelled !!! argg

My favorite season finale was the series finale of EVERWOOD. Closure on ALL fronts!

Ephram ends up with Amy, Bright and Hannah work things out, and Andy ends up with his hot neighbor. A nice tear-jerking tragedy sprinkled on top.

Just an all out perfect finale to trump all finales!!

Season 5 and season 6 finales of Buffy. Series finale was alright too, but no where near as good as the two finales before it.

In fact s5 finale of Buffy was probably the best of television i've ever seen. That entire season was simply fantastic.

I have to say the season six finale of Friends when Chandler proposes to Monica and they're both crying and they dance at the end to Eric Clapton's You Look Wonderful Tonight as soon as I saw Monica bend down with Chandler and she was sniffling I cried it was so romantic.

Gilmore Girls never really had good finales, but their series finale was good. Lorelai ends up with Christopher, Rory finally dumps Logan... snazzy...

That's 70's show season 3 the promise ring. It was sad but funny at the same time. it has one of my favorite lines "I mean damn donna" lol

Veronica Mars season 2 finale Not Pictured. By far my favorite finale of any show. It's amazing how Rob Thomas was able to pull together all of these elements and throw out so many red herrings to distract the viewer from the real villain but have it all make sense in the end.

I thought the season 3 finale of Smallville was good! Lionel getting his head shaved, Lex drinking that stuff and dying, Johnathan dying, Clark going into the wall to be reborn, Martha running around, Pete leaving:( (I miss Pete) Chloe getting blown up! Lana running off to France just for the hell of it, the bogus Kara, And Mozart's Requiem playing over the top of it all!! Man! What a finale!
