New Charater Hana! Spoiler

New hero to be introduced, a girl named Hana. NBC just released #13 of their graphic novel which introduces her. I was wondering if anyone knows more information on her. Who is playing her and what her power could be.

Just a side note is that Isaac paints a suicide bombing of an Iraelly bus in episode 1.1. The comic talks about the same.

Only thing with that is, Isaac paints the future... the suicide bombing (well, not even a bombing really) that she was involved in took place in 1989.

Her power seems to be a technopathic function...she can hear/see/feel/send/receive all forms of technological communications...

o ok. so its kind of like micha but not. micha has the power to control technology when hana has the power to use it to communicate. perhaps at some point they will need to enlist michas help to communicate with her. like if a power outage happens and they need to speak with hana then micha will be able to power up a computer or something.

Just read part 2 of the story line on her and we know now is that she communicate via technology. She can send text messages without saying a word. So she is basicalli a wireless receiver and sender. I wonder if you could pick up wifi signals ahile around her. So she could watch TV since it is being broadcast via satelite. She could end up having a really cool power.

she may be a technopath but she is also trained in combat. If jessica escapes Hana would be perfect to take her down...i guess..i havent seen her on the show yet though

True she is trained in combat but Jessica can rip people in half. I would take that over military defense moves anyday. Of course she could try text her to death.

I dont think we can call her technopath either, I think that implies that she can manipulate technology like Micah did with the phone. She cant actually do that, she can just communicate via radio waves. So we should call her a Radiopath.

Although radio waves would imply that she could control what we here in the car so that is propably not what she is called either.

chrisxs5, "Radiopath" would probably be the best description, since she does indeed sense the radio waves emitted from wireless technology, regardless of what we think when we hear the word "radio". But it wouldn't be a hard stretch of the imagination to assume she can also sense other frequencies and types of waves, such as those used by older radio systems, etc which would make the title Radiopath even more apt.
That, in conjunction with being a Codebreaker does make her one of the coolest and most interesting of the Heroes so far. I'm already liking her more than Nikki/Jessica and Eden. :)

I'm liking her too. I think that she will be an interseting dynamic they bring to the show. I also like the term "Radiopath". If that is the term they end up using for her then we will all be able to say last man of krypton coined the term on herosite.net.

I saw a pic of her. Someone posted it at 9th wonders. She looks a lot like Misha Barton from the OC

After reading the the latest graphic novel her name is Dorothy now. She changed it to hide from the government. So it looks like when she comes on the show her and HRG will have a past.

So here it comes the replacement for Eden, her plot sounds good though. I really, really want to know who is gonna play that character. Maybe is a newbie like most of the secondary characters

Her undercover name is Samantha I think. BTW anyone saw the preview with her and Ted. It was good, her power looks pretty cool. And no, she isn't Misha Barton :lol:
