I met Red Foxx way back in the last part of the '80s.
I worked for a week as personal Security for him at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
I worked for a security company that did "Security for the Stars".
Of course his own personal security guy looked like The Hulk's little brother, but I was hired by the Casino.

The man was everything you would think of him and he really acted like Fred Sanford in real life.
(Even though he had tax problems) He gave me a five hundred dollar casino chip for a tip every day. :eek:

Glad you like the HIRO wall – I thought it came out really well. I really had fun playing up the bright and happy colors on his wallpaper :D Niki isn’t my favorite HERO either, but my sister really likes her so I made it because she asked. I actually really like how the WP came out for hers. I kept making changes after I thought I was finished w/ it – LOL! I kept kicking myself because I wanted the corpses in there somewhere and finally figured that they should be in the mirror. When I did that it was finally done :)

Yeah her story definitely got better, particularly after watching the “5 months Earlier” episode where we found out why she had her break in reality.

I think bringing in DL also helped to really flesh out her character more.

Thank you! I like how both of them seem to have their own unique color also. The Niki caps were hard to work with. Even though they were HD ultra hi-res the Las Vegas sun really stripped out much contrast in the color pallet for her so I had to compensate.

I like Peter, don’t worry, I’ll make wallpapers with him also. I like the whole cast, really. Unlike SV where I have very distinct characters who I love and those that I detest, I tend to like most everyone on HEROES about equally. So expect me to crank out walls from pretty much all of the different HEROES :D

Thank you! Once I got my illustrated style down, it's been impossible to get me to stop using in on all of my artwork :p I'm glad you like it - I think it goes great w/ Smallville and HEROES art since both series are comic book-ish.

I'm sorta Smallvilled out so I'm working on other art at the moment and HEROES is getting some attention from me.

hehe...you caught that didn't you lol.....I usually put my logo or name on my work somewhere.

Some people don't do that but I like to because things travel and it's good to know who makes some things - I know we're all sharing but at the same time I agree with you about 'working hard on something you want to sign your name on it' And I usually work the logo into the artwork - so it's not right out there lol. It irritates some people but oh well......can't please everyone can you. ;)

Did you draw them? Or did you mess with them in photoshop? I'm not as familiar with whether you draw or not. I love it though - nice and simple - and dark.....looks nice on my desktop. I love that there is just a subtle coloring to it :) Nice work :)

Thanks Abby & Ginx! I didn't draw them, they're from the graphic novel.
I pain-stakingly cropped, resized, layered & placed them though. The background is a screencap of the actual explosion.
I'm happy with the final result, considering I almost gave up & didn't complete it a few months ago.
I just saved it, & came back to it this morning. :)

Here's the previous version (with just a pop of color), and the
new color version of it. I hope they look okay. :cool:

These are cool. I like the one with Hiro/Peter/Sylar on it best but they are both cool and nicely done. :)

Thanks. I don´t know if i make my walls that quickly, they usually take quite a few hours to make. I guess i just don´t have a life and spend all my time in front of the computer :lol:. I don´t really make too many icons, i find it quite difficult to make something interesting in such a small space and when i make them it´s usually because i can´t come up with any good ideas for wallpapers.
