Is there anybody out there who can give a semi-plausible explanation for the weather in this episode. We know Thanksgiving happened in Rage and that Valentines Day will happen in Crimson, so we know that this episode is supposed to take place between late November and mid February. Clark lives in the midwest and we see migrant workers near his farm working in the hot son in fully grown corn fields.
At this point I dont even care if its a very good explanation. I just want to be able to watch this episode and believe it actually takes place between episode 8 and 10 next time I watch through this season. Is there something about the weather patterns in the midwest that I dont know about?

this episode was filmed during the summer and was ment to be aired as episode 4 or 5 i believe. then they decided to wait to air the episode till now. im guessing they probably wanted to let it be a cliff hanger about level 33.1 and lanas answer.

Hell, as many meteor shower's as they have had, I am surprised the clouds isn't raining down Meteor juice and turning the whole town into freaks.

That was one of the first things I posted about when the episode started. I can see it now:
"Winter hits Kansas late, potato fields also mature at a slower rate than possible and the grass is still green in the midwest, film at 11."

Oh man! It doesn't belong here, IMO. I think this episode should of been earlier. It woulda been much better to cliff-hanger on the lexana proposal- even though it didn't get me excited about any future eps.
Smallville's best cliffhangers are always at the end of a season...
