I looked up one of the characters tonight John Novak and I see he has been in other episodes.
Will this be the same character based on continuity?

- Subterranean (2006) TV Episode .... Jed McNally
- Recruit (2005) TV Episode .... Football Coach - Metropolis University

I doubt it's based on the same character. The actress who played Raya also played the pregnant mother in the episode with that exploding child. I forget the name of that episode.

Smallville is his own show. They don't need to continu a caracter from any other show. They never did and I'm pretty sure they never will. Ok for things base on mytho but not on base on other show. Forget it. If they do base on an other show it will be a big mistake.

Ummm... what are you talking about? Those are two smallville eps... I think he was asking if the farmer in this ep was who he played in the Recruit... in the Recruit, he was the coach I believe. Which still doesn't say anything since coaches have farms too... but I don't think he played the same char in both eps.
